[sub]No I did not look that up on purpose, I found it by accident and learned of the character's existence this way.[/sub]
you just keep telling yourself that
Great, now kids will believe that all transsexuals have superpowers...
They don't?!
Yeah this isn't exactly an original concept

Ah, Tom Hanks in drag. Bosom Buddies was actually a funny show.
What is the world coming to
Another heads up, The Hub is only airing because it was successful on Network Ten in Australia since last December.
There's no reason to have a problem with this. It's a step in the right direction, you don't have to watch it and it's not hurting anyone.
Sounds fine to me.
Its a step in the right direction but its a little bit ehhhhhh yeah
I seriously was not expecting to ever see that headline.
I don't really see the point...
That's because Shezow tucks it.
Honestly, I feel the show will encourage children to see transsexuals/gay/etc etc as someone super. Thus, respecting them. It teaches our children to accept EVERYONE. I like it!... Kinda.
Audience: both young boys and girls.
I'll lose my shit if there's a fandom evolved from this show.
I would be a lot more okay with this if it didn't perpetuate the "pink=girls blue=boys" thing.

There is, it's just very small. I doubt it'll be the next furry / brony.

Imagine if this is the new MLP.

Didn't this used to be the opposite until like the 1930's or someshit?
So what's the point apart from pleasing a niche ?
It's like if Captain Marvel (Shazam) had sex with Ranma 1/2; Shezow would be their cartoon baby.
theres already a few things of this on shadbase
its
interesting?

Children who watch shows like this hardly even understand what a transsexual is, let alone see the deeper meaning behind it. They'll likely just see this as a unique concept for a show (which tbh it basically is, it's never even hinted at transexuality besides the whole 'you go girl!!!' transformation)
If you want to educate kids on matters like this, then you should directly educate them about it.

To be honest it really sounds like the creators of this show are trying to get the same result as MLP by actually targeting another demographic than the one it's supposed to be aimed at.
Tumblr already has a small fanbase, I'm assuming based entirely on the concept.
If it's poor or average, expect mindless fanart from people who don't actually watch the thing because it's not worth watching.

The title is sensationalist as hell, as I've said before this show literally has nothing to do with LGBT people, it's just drag.
this shezow girl need to learn to contour her face
or like, at least try to do something
she lookin like some booger crossdresser
now this here is how you work and look good:

That's giving both this show and kids a lot of credits. I doubt the show would actually be good enough to teach that sort of lesson and I also doubt a kid watching a show would actually think about the social condition of whoever is represented in there.
Honestly, it's because of that whole boy becomes girl hero thing that I have doubt's about this show.
it's almost asking for trouble, but at the same time, it might be good. I just don't see it lasting.

experiments like that usually wind up in failure. Companies need to learn that the way to actually get that unintended audience is to keep doing what got them in the first place. for example with MLP it's the high quallitly of the stories/episodes. (hence why even Bronies reacted horribly towards Equestria Girls)
-snip-
I could not be more late.
Sounds more like a cross dresser than a transsexual.
Obviously you've never seen Shadman's interpretation of the character.
[sub][sub]Please don't make me dig it up.[/sub][/sub]

It really just sounds like an average, borderline mediocre show that's trying to get more attention by having a weirder-than-usual premise.
i guess its fine but itd be cooler if shezow didnt
you know
sound like a dude
Well it's... interesting to say the least. Probably not going to go well though.
