Just like Obama in 2008, eh?
Vote for Congress too. That's all I have to say about that.
Just started watching the debate on Youtube. Listening to O'Malley talk is boring as watching paint dry.
Guys, it's obvious CNN is endorsing Clinton because money is involved. It's not the first time a news source is biased on something.
Just like Obama in 2008, eh?
Yeah its hard to change stuff when the Congress is against you and their main goal is to stop all the progress you do. The congress is equally or even more important than the president.
So far Webb's bluntness and pragmatic attitude has really impressed me. I'd still vote for Sanders though.
So far Webb's bluntness and pragmatic attitude has really impressed me. I'd still vote for Sanders though.
Like 80% of Webb's answers would have been right at home in the republican party. He: - was against the nuclear deal with Iran - disagreed with basically all the foreign policy of Obama and the other candidates - was against any strong gun control - is for reducing corporate taxes while getting rid of loopholes - is for pushing taxes more towards consumption and away from income - is against strong climate change policy without first getting China and India on board - etc.

CNN claiming Hilary won when Sanders has the super majority opinion in every poll only shows how bought out American politics is. I wouldn't be surprised if this drummed up more support for Sander.

But flat out lying when the results of their own god damn poll shows that Sanders clearly won is Fox News levels of bullshit.

no surprise chafee fucked up so badly in the debate. rhode island is a shithole and his tenure as governor didn't change that fact
Corporations can be anything. Not all corporations are free market demons and not all corporations are completely amoral, and believe it or not some of them actually create jobs, like Caterpillar - a vital heavy machinery manufacturer. In the United States, a corporation is a form of doing business with shareholders liability for the corporations. Liabilities are limited to the extent of the holding of company shares. You buy a share of Apple and you own that share. The problem resides in ones like Monsanto or McDonalds etc - they infiltrate policy to such a massive degree that trying to reduce their influence could land you in a very hostile political environment. Focusing on corporations alone is almost close minded, its how they assert influence that is the bigger issue. Hillary gets donations from mega-corps that also donated to Jeb Bush. I'm actually glad Trump trumped Bush because at least Hillary of the right is near bottom in the polls. The whole thing is ironic because Hillary loosely accuses blanket term "corporations" without naming names or putting forth groundbreaking policy. Bernie has called for removal of superpacs and correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Hillary has been silent on this. In short, the term is - at least for Ms. Clinton - political doublespeak.
Are we still working the anti-Monsanto circle-jerk? There are far worse companies out there than Monsanto and litigation is pretty common for nearly every Fortune 500 company.
If Clinton wins, you can be certain that it's a bought victory.
man cnn is disgusting
you should see the comments on CNN FB posts lol [editline]14th October 2015[/editline] even people against bernie sanders are mad at them
Clinton News Network.

And that's awesome, especially considering they're trying to pull this bullshit. It really goes to show just how fucking horrible this country is in just one more (out of many) aspect: our journalism is so yellow and inaccurate it's basically as valuable as warm piss. Like others have pointed out as well, I suspect a large portion of this on CNN's part is thanks to corruption; how else could you be reporting shit this wildly inaccurate unless you were bought out by a wealthy political dynasty like the Clintons? That makes me worry how fair the final nominations will be. And it also makes me think Sanders might need to push the social revolution rhetoric more to convince more Americans to hold knives to these people's throats to finally convey to them: "No, we're not going to tolerate your trash anymore. You work for us. Do your jobs, or there will be consequences." That's a simplified way of putting it, but the fact that we still tolerate this unacceptable behavior on so many fronts and allow money and corruption and careerism to infiltrate our politics as heavily as we have for decades now is something that needs to change. For our sake as a people and for the sake of our country. Because it seems like we've actually got a pretty decent chance with this socially-unifying and appealing presidential candidate here to do something about it, having learned from our mistakes with Obama. Change is only going to come with direct action on behalf of the people, and assuming we could put Sanders into office as president, we would stand a more than decent chance at achieving change because of the apparent reliance he intends to put on direct action as a weapon of reform against the government. This needs to happen, and sooner rather than later. The longer we wait, the more time we waste doing nothing, the more and more deeply-entrenched this kind of corrupt and ridiculous behavior is going to become. It'll only become harder to purge as time goes by; honestly, it already is hard and will be hard at present to address, but we've got a golden opportunity here with Sanders-- and that's why I'm definitely volunteering and voting for him now. [editline]14th October 2015[/editline]
post them here,.?
I'd like to see them too. It's good people are getting angry about this. They should be angry. Demanding accuracy and neutrality from the media is a basic component of maintaining a functional democracy.
Hmm. Oh? Time Warner? CNN is owned by Time Warner. Makes sense now dont it
CNN is corrupt, but you're mistaken about the direction of money flow. CNN's parent company, Time Warner, is one of the "Big Six" American media corporations (Comcast, Disney, NewsCorp, Time Warner, Viacom and CBS) that together own pretty much every news channel in America. They all lobby the government and they all give political donations to politicians. For Clinton in particular, opensecrets.org reports that Time Warner has contributed $501,831 USD to Clinton throughout her political career. She's their candidate of choice. You can't trust any of these media corporations to give neutral, objective, ethical or journalistic treatment of anything political. I hope Sanders is truly a democratic socialist and not just a social democrat. Americans could certainly do with the social band-aids handed out by the latter, but the former would be completely unprecedented in American history. Imagine the faces on the CIA, NSA, Military Industrial Complex and Wall Street when they realise there is a red in the white house. edit: Ninja'd by EcksDee

Is there really no place I can watch the democratic debate for the role of president of the country I live in for free? Hope I'm wrong.
Guys, it's obvious CNN is endorsing Clinton because money is involved. It's not the first time a news source is biased on something.
Such promotion, the last word, long speaking times. Easy to believe you.
CNN's Clinton praise is in line with the rest of the media's assessment of the debate: Clinton won. I don't agree with them but I am not about to cry corruption either. http://fivethirtyeight.com/datalab/first-democratic-debate-hillary-clinton/ Good article about the journalistic consensus about Hillary and the debate.
This is what happens when the Clinton family funds CNN.
http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/article/2574083 short article discussing the difference between public opinion and insider opinion: insiders value debate performance and polish while younger activists care about the substance of what was said. I support Bernie but he had a lot of cringeworthy moments. His discussion of gun control was embarrassing, he blanked for a few seconds on foreign policy, straight up was not paying attention at one point (Pardon Me???), and at one point had an unnecessary fight about immigration with O'Malley.
