I hope to god Bernie wins. If not, then I am just going to go full edgelord and bet on how much worse the US is going to get with Hillary.
We have to make him win. In my area we are hosting dozens of events to rally support. In one night we raised 1000 dollars from about 40-50 people. The biggest thing to help him is to register as a Democrat to vote in the primaries. Some states have closed primaries, like Florida, New York, etc.
I prayed to Bernie Sanders last night and He said that, if you have faith in Him, he will become president!
The fuck are these gifs CNN? [editline]14th October 2015[/editline]
I prayed to Bernie Sanders last night and He said that, if you have faith in Him, he will become president!
Your avatar is fitting considering biden would have been the #3 slot if he had declared his candidacy last night I think that him missing this debate has pretty much solidly said he is not running, otherwise this would have been the deadline
god the other ones should just quit there wasting there campaign money only Bernie and Clinton have a chance
god the other ones should just quit there wasting there campaign money only Bernie and Clinton have a chance
O'Malley is pretty good though
Literally cackling at "Clinton's Confident Sweep" when their own viewer polls show overwhelming popular support for Sanders.
I hope clintons polls numbers start dropping and the dnc starts considering sanders. If biden stears clear of this then bernie might just have what it takes to win
"I thought Bernie Sanders won.." "Nope, Clinton." "But the polls.." "NOPE, NOPE, NOPE."
O'Malley is pretty good though
his only position last night was glass stiegal also what world is CNN AND Fox living in when the minority of the polls is somehow winning
So apparently this internet poll is no longer on CNN's website? I don't know why they'd take it down; doesn't make sense no matter how I look at it.
It's still up? https://www.facebook.com/cnn/app_1667241686824039 Oh wait you said on their website, where was this on cnn.com?
[img_thumb]http://i.cdn.turner.com/cnn/interactive/2015/10/politics/2016-democratic-party-debate/media/Clinton_512.gif[/img_thumb]
is it me or are her eyes dead that combined with the smirk just makes her look creepy and quite punchable
Some folks are upset about it 'being deleted' but since we can access it just fine I dunno? Guess I jumped the gun.
Oh wait you said on their website, where was this on cnn.com?
Not sure. Guess it must've been on their website somewhere last night and they took it down? I can't find it on their website - but, I mean I dunno if it was even up on there to begin with. Anyone who was browsing CNN last night able to confirm/rebut all this brouhaha?
is it me or are her eyes dead that combined with the smirk just makes her look creepy and quite punchable
Then she starts running at you screaming like those people from Invasion of the Bodysnatchers
is it me or are her eyes dead that combined with the smirk just makes her look creepy and quite punchable
more than what she says and has done she just has dead doll eyes and a punchable face that fills me with teenage angst the likes of which not even linkin park has seen
It's a facebook poll guys. It's almost literally meaningless when talking about actual watcher response.
It's a facebook poll guys. It's almost literally meaningless when talking about actual watcher response.
Then why bother in the first place? Why didn't they hold the poll on the actual CNN website to get a more accurate response if the domain has that much to do with it? Why even bother having a poll if it's just for the "kids"?
It's almost literally meaningless when talking about actual watcher response.
I think you mean some other kind of response? What other sort of meaningful response from watchers would you expect other than by some sort of poll? I mean I don't think an internet poll is going to change the election and I don't think it'll accurately represent what'll be 'at the polls' when it comes to votes - but it seems pretty meaningful in the light of 'what did viewers think'. Edit: Oh wait you mean because it's a Facebook poll. OK, I get it. Supposedly it was linked to by CNN during the debate though - which would make it CNN's form of measurement for instant viewer response.
anyone have the polls before and after the debate? can't get the primary polls pages to load on most sites.

Yeah, people not listening to internet polls is not some pro-Clinton conspiracy but just common sense internet polls suck. It'll take a few days to see if the polls actually changed in response to the debate.

It's a way to put up a sensationalist headline and give people the feeling that they're opinions matter when it's actually pointless. Even a poll on the CNN site wouldn't be much better. They would need to do a random sample for real data. Especially when the sample used in an online poll (internet users) is so incredibly biased towards one option when compared to the rest of the democratic base.

So did the Fusion focus group. As did the Fox focus group. Most people agree that Sanders did well. I would've liked him to spend a bit more on the "democratic socialist" bit to dissuade people from that, instead of veering off immediately to casino capitalism, but he did incredibly well. Clinton did very well, too (especially compared to her earlier debates), but most focus groups and non-mass-media sources are agreeing that Sanders won the debate.
Yeah, people not listening to internet polls is not some pro-Clinton conspiracy but just common sense internet polls suck. I haven't said anything against that. People just keep bringing up the facebook poll as if CNN is going against the hard poll data when they say that Hillary won when the fact is that the FB poll is meaningless.
lmao "let's look at what the kids on facebook think!" yeah nah the average facebook user age in the U.S. is like 40 years old.
bernie sanders is too good [editline]14th October 2015[/editline]
You're right, it was stupid to do the poll in the first place.
