Climate change will cause widespread population displacement. We'll see millions of people fleeing from drought and rising seas. People will want to seek refuge in other countries. It's absolutely a national security concern.
It's obviously not the intent of the question; everyone else seemed to get the point. I want to like Bernie but his foreign policy stances make him seem very weak and avoiding questions where we can get a good idea of what he thinks threatens us the most make him look very weak. That's my opinion tho, we can agree to disagree
Honestly, I really didn't like the way Webb ran my state, but fuck, he and the guy who looks like a turtle are getting completely shafted. This is the first time he has spoke in like, 15 minutes. What a fucking farce.
Can we just fast forward to the Trump vs Hillary debates so I can bath in sweaty political driven tears?
"My republican friends seem to have Amnesia on this issue" - Bernie
About died laughing.

I'll just leave this here
do you even care about black lives?
I don't think we should reduce an important issue to sensationalist buzzwords every time a black person dies. I'd feel so embarrassed having my entire demographic reduced to a plea to voters.
"I love black people more!"

My boy Bernie got this.

Amnesia jokes from a guy who literally forgot a question he was asked, right as he was asked it are fairly, well, weak.
That question would've been a good time to mention her superPAC funding. A little weird he forgot about that.
Bernie is stupidly quiet about how he feels about America's interaction with the rest of the world and the leadership role it has. Him avoiding essentially any question where he has to step on ANYONE else's toes outside of the country is incredibly telling about what he would be willing to do, which seems like, well, nothing.
Bernie's opinions on foreign policy are really what are going to do him in if he doesn't harden the fuck up.
tbh i think sanders' campaign and platform means more in terms of expressing dissent and dissatisfaction rather than actually winning the election
some greater political diversity, both leftward and rightward, can only serve to strengthen the democratic party in the long-term, particularly as the GOP implodes upon itself. unlike the GOP, the democrats have a great deal of long-term experience with machine politics, using tools and mechanisms that can effectively centralize a diverse range of voices.

i almost pissed myself laughing at that description
poor lincoln chafee, just a turtle turned on his back
-snip-
glass steagall won't help too much though, the banks aren't in that business anymore but there's still plenty of massive speculative companies
Is there a stream other than cnngo that I can watch this, I don't have CNN on my tv unfortunately.

You don't have to sign in to use the cnnGo stream
Bernie focuses way, WAY, too much on domestic and social issues. When the President is literally the chief diplomat of the US and the top ranking official in the Military, you NEED to be able to come out strong on those points, you need to at the very least, have an opinion about it, which he seems not to.
"Uh..... Putin will.... regret that."
"I would do... something?"
Seriously, I agree with a lot of his social platforms, but those need to come along with strong leadership. Bernie doesn't even seem to want to be a strong leader.
I think that what might actually cause bernie to lose and fall behind in the long run. Every time foreign affairs come up or economical plans it goes back to domestic and social points in the US without giving any strong direction about the question asked.

It never loads for me though.
Friendly reminder that Clinton started talking about protecting the Lehman brothers from being broken up and she has taken donations from them. About 300k.
Shots fired.
The other candidates have literally disappeared LOL.
the way bernie keeps referring to himself in the third person cracks me up.
The other candidates have literally disappeared LOL.
Seriously. The spread of who gets to say what is fucking abysmal.
At the least, I can appreciate the GOP debate at least have a slightly more equal spread of answers.

Which is shitty, when Webb, Omally, and turtle man have all had legitimate points to make, but are essentially being ignored.
Equality for the little guy, right?
That was a good answer by Bernie. He laid out why certain aspects of making a decision as a political figure is hindered by big money and wallstreet
Clinton pls go.
Also: Sanders or revolt.
Can anyone summarize this debate on the financial thing? It seems like everyone is saying, "I agree with [x], but [same thing x just said]." I can't keep up with where the disagreement is.
Jim Webb looks and feels like a Hollywood action movie President.
Sanders just has so much experience in regards to dealing with Wall Street. He has any question on the subject in the bag.
Jim way of speaking is annoying.
