"So sir, what shall we do today?"
"I have an idea- Why don't we sort out our drugs and weapons problem?"
"Nah, let's BAN video-games!
[QUOTE=BCell;20664506]I thought Venezuela doesn't exist?[/QUOTE]
:bravo:
Also, I knew that Mercs2 would be mentioned in that article.
But my airport said that Venezuela does not use proper safety checks at airports
Well,i just found something my gouverment could copy and past.
Shipping 3 copies of Soldier Of Fortune to them now :smug:
Well, at least less South-Americans in online games that either talk Spanish or horribly abused English.
Meanwhile in Australia.
"Put another shrimp on the barby mate, we've got some laws to enact..."
Venezuela and Australia are currently in a pissing contest.
Sucks to be them.
From what I've seen Australia isn't nearly as bad as you people keep saying it is.
"Oh,Frau Merkel!!""
"Vat es et,Schweinhund?"
"They just banned video games in Venezuela!!"
"Gut,execute order 66"

The ball is on Australia's side of the court now. Will they make a move to top this?
Though I'm not sure about the validity or accuracy of the 'news'. Kotaku is linking to sites which in turn link to a blogger, who provides a "translation" of an article from a magazine. There might be more to this story than we're getting, but they're mostly expecting us to go for "zomg vidya gaems banned!1!1"

Australia banned shrimp, barbecues, and putting things on things
Dumb law but kind of understandable, when you live in their capital city you'll have about a 0.15% change to get murdered every year. Maybe it doesn't sound much but when you live there all your life the change you die by murder is about 10%
Their dictator is playing violent games in his little office laughing at everybody else.
FYI Venezuela has much worse human rights abuses than banning violent video games
Hmm, in fact as I continue looking there's few news sites actually covering this issue, the few that do link back to video gaming sites like Kotaku, who in turn rely on a blogging site.
Meh, seems they're making mountains out of mole hills.
[QUOTE=Rusty101;20663110]polls show that bans create significant anger and uproar. that is why bans have now been banned
[editline]12:01AM[/editline]
and then the ban to ban bans has been banned
[editline]12:02AM[/editline]
and then the ban to ban to ban to ban bans has also been banned
[editline]12:03AM[/editline]
the ban to ban bans has recently been unbanned making it bannable to ban bans while also simultaneously making it bannable to not ban bans[/QUOTE]
My sister was once bitten by a moose.
[editline]4:15PM[/editline]
They banned those, too.
I wonder if Mercs 2 counts :v:
this just in: Australia.... i mean Venezuela bans violent video game and Australia bans Venezuela for copying the ban system
i guess you could say... violent games [i]punch[/i] you a one way ticket to prison.... xD
Cause playing games make you become a bad boy.
The Venezuelans can pretty much say good bye to every video game now. 99% of games nowadays include violence, or cartoon violence, cartoon mischief is basically the same. The 1% of games that are non violent are pussies. I guess Venezuelans are all pussies now.
is this the same venezuela who thinks america has an earthquake machine
Drugs is now banned in Venezuela. :cop::350:
