Everything seems better when it happened a couple of years ago.
and they have JUST realised this?
Many people have worked this out previously. Axis of Awesome, for one. Every British music technology tutor as well, by the sounds of things. This is a massive sweeping statement, though, as a lot of pop music gets tarred with the same brush, whereas a good, focused listen will reveal that a lot of it is well written. That isn't what people want to think, though.
I have this nasty problem with elitism where I automatically compare things to Pink Floyd. I'm trying to get over it and open up my mind, but all the songs I hear on the radio are like, "I'm in da club" and I just hate it. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate modern music, just the crap that takes no effort and is made for money, and money only. [editline]31st July 2012[/editline] especially LMFAO. I fucking hate the party rock song, so overplayed
sorry to bring this thread back into discussion but I want to point out just how DETRIMENTAL the situation is. This song is fairly recent, and I have a strong feeling, that the "painfully" loud digital master on a CD on most records, are destroying perfectly good pop music. I know this is Madonna and she's not feeling too well at this moment in time, but the record companies really battered some highly enjoyable music.
