I wouldn't mind Diablo as an MMO if it played like a Diablo game, but online. And with the classes more balanced around teamwork.
Have you played Diablo? It is focused around teamwork. With a full party there is no way in hell you are going to do things by yourself without dying every few minutes.
That being said, it is going to be a new series:
DiabloCraft
I think they already confirmed it's not going to be based on any of their current games.
Aww well there goes my ideas for the expansion:
DiabloCraft: Star Lord of Destruction
You guys got it all wrong, Valve is turning TF2 into an mmo, and blizz is gonna turn starcraft into an fps :v:
Activision just wants to milk yet another massive cash cow. Hopefully if it is original its not as shit as WoW has become.
A starcraft like Planetside would be fucking epic.
Actually... A planetside remake is just what needs to happen. Who gives a fuck what the theme is. REMAKE PLANETSIDE.
A Zombie MMO Fps were you can make factions and set up survival camps with others. Ahh the dream.
world of starcraft
diablo online
*ahem* Universe of StarCraft
I wish they would release something that is not cartoony, but I guess that's not happening.
A ridiculously cool MMORTS where you build cities and hire people to merc other bluds for you.
*ahem* Universe of StarCraft
World of Starcraft fits, as World refers to a sum of civilization as a hole, rather than just one planet.
This probably isn't going to end well.
By which I mean millions more addicts will be created and the global economy will suffer a catastrophic downfall.

Actually as long as blizzard pays their taxes it all works out. It works alot better than most companies since they only develop games.

Either that is a dude, or she lied about her weight, possibly both.
As others have said, Blizzard has already told us that it's going to be a completely new IP. So no Starcraft or Diablo. Whatever it is will be amazing though I'm sure.
e: perhaps they're working on a twilight mmo :allears:

Age of Warcraft. I bet they will make it like Age of Conan.
Nice to see Rong finally has crawled out of the Team Fortress 2 section
Blizzard wants new MMO to co-exist with World of Warcraft.
In other news, EVE Online fanboys hope Dust 514 will actually be released, and the French aren't surrendering to a random gypsy at the border.
And North Korea is actually the flagship country of capitalism.
World of Duty
(since they are in cahoots with Activison)
If this has anything in common with WoW, the trolls are going to be screaming bloody murder.
And by anything in common, I'm referring to things like leveling and the presence of sound...and graphics.
you clearly do not know what a troll is
World of Something Blizzard
Yeah, those damn WoW players.

If the monthly subscription fee is too expensive for you, you can have alternative payment methods!
"I don't have enough energy to do that" will be aptly replaced by "I need additional pylons".
