Yeah, the best way to protest the fact that the goverment is spending too much money on shit is to break stuff so they have to spend even more money on shit.
Regardless the point was that violence causes change, if they want change they will attempt to achieve it the best way they can as long as politics don't work.
The best way isn't violence... Are you not grasping that from my posts? [editline]12:11PM[/editline]
Yeah, the best way to protest the fact that the goverment is spending too much money on shit is to break stuff so they have to spend even more money on shit.
G20 isn't just about that...
A parody of anarchy, clever but your point is quite moot since violence does change things.
It does if it's done right. If it's done wrong it fucks things up even worse. These guys did it wrong. Way wrong.
G20 isn't just about that...
It sure looks like it, considering they were just breaking shit in this "protest".
Half of those "protesters" are a bunch of angsty teens with no idea what they're doing in the meeting at all. There are maybe 20 people out of the protesters that actually know why they're protesting. The rest are just following the bandwagon.
The rest are just looking for an excuse to riot and cause property damage. Cause burning down your neighbor's business will show the government who controls who!
The rest are just looking for an excuse to riot and cause property damage. Cause burning down your neighbor's business will show the government who controls who!
It will actually, it shows the people won't be submissive.
Keep saying that with out backing it up, going to make loads of people believe you </s> [editline]12:07PM[/editline] Just because he's dressed in punk attire hardly means he's a teen.
He easily could be for all we know, Its just a picture. Though his age does not matter, it is the act that he is doing.
It will actually, it shows the people won't be submissive.
While hurting other people at the same time without causing any good.
It will actually, it shows the people won't be submissive.
So did Civil Rights marches
It will actually, it shows the people won't be submissive.
But it wont help there cause at all, a Local business most likely would hardly have anything to do with G20.
It will actually, it shows the people won't be submissive.
Just like the 1992 Los Angeles riots, right?
So did Civil Rights marches
And look how that worked out, women in the workplace still have 25% less pay then males.
Just like the 1992 Los Angeles riots, right?
They caused reform in education and health.
i bet if everyone in canada didn't ride a bus it would fix everything
Teenage mutant ninja protesters...
And look how that worked out, women in the workplace still have 25% less pay then males. They caused reform in education and health.
I more meant stuff like MLK but okay
I more meant stuff like MLK but okay
There was violence in those, but it was led very well. It is a good example of how peaceful boycotting can cause change, but as stated before this will not be the case in Canada.
They caused reform in education and health.
Are you even familiar with the subject matter you are talking about?
But supporting governments being wasteful fuckwads does. If you're not against them, you're for them.
Only Sith deal in absolutes
There was violence in those, but it was led very well. It is a good example of how peaceful boycotting can cause change, but as stated before this will not be the case in Canada.
why not?
Dirty hippies
I just want to be a riot cop with a rapid firing beanbag gun and go crazy on them
what the fuck go get help you psychopath
" hey guise, im an "anarchist" lol. For more the 3/4 of the year i act normal and follow all of societies norms but when theres some form of government meeting i shed my skin and dress up like a fag and hit things. cause that solves the problems. right?" [editline]07:50PM[/editline]
what the fuck go get help you psychopath
Lol no. Some of these "protesters" really need that. Some have probably already had a taste of beanbag from the riot police in Toronto
what the fuck go get help you psychopath
Whats wrong about firing non-lethal weapons at people causing damage and havoc?
It will actually, it shows the people won't be submissive.
it also lets 13 year olds post videos on their facebook bragging about how rebellious they are
Angry, angry teenagers insisting anarchy is the best thing since the wheel. I cut all the sleeves off my shirts and listen to the Misfits, nobody understands me and instead of voting I throw rocks through windows and run away when the police come! Going to CHANGE THE FUCKING WORLD!
I'd like to politely ask them: "What the fuck are you protesting?"
Lol no. Some of these "protesters" really need that. Some have probably already had a taste of beanbag from the riot police in Toronto
yeah i'm pretty sure the police doesn't need any batshit crazy officers who wanna go crazy on people then get acquitted on five manslaughter charges. their reputation is bad enough already
Wait, where is FP getting the notion that G20 protesters are anarchists? People are protesting it for far more reasons than it being government..
