even if the original intention is for it look like a star of david, it's not a star of david. it's a generic six-pointed star colored red. and the fact that the trump twitter deleted it soon after shows that they quickly realized it could easily be misinterpreted. if this one slip-up is enough to convince you that trump is an anti-semite, then you already had your mind made up anyways so it's not like it matters.

It's very likely that he found it from Twitter.

The star in that image is simply not the Star of David. Without the related clickbait headline, I highly doubt there's a single person that would give two shits about the infographic. The truth is that CNN and the like are probably more than knowledgeable of what the Star of David looks like. I just don't really think they care-- the headline is enough to potentially dissuade Jewish people from voting for Trump. After all, who actually ever even reads articles these days?
