Not to mention, the screen is by far the biggest power hog of any phone component, so it really depends on how much you're using it. Most smartphones can't beat ~6 hours of screen-on time.

Is it just me, or...[/QUOTE] usualy my phone uses charge so fast I can watch the battery % go down and under heavy use it lasts maybe all of 3-4 hours, but if I leave it off, and disable wifi, the GPS, and a few other things I can make the last 4% of it last another .5-1 hour god I wish the galaxy nexus had a better battery

Combine this with wireless recharging. Have wireless recharging stations in every entrance to a house / building / shop etc... Your device will be recharged constantly and will last for so long for each charge you practically won't need to worry or think about charging your mobile devices at all.
