Hey, that mouse was in my home. Mice in the wild, I can deal with. If they get in my house, they're pests and deserve what they get.
For a while, I used to just capture any mice and send them outside and on their way. They just crawl their way back inside. I got sick of it. Usually, my cat will kill them.
Would you rather have a cat rip a mouse limb from limb, or have it get shot and go out quick and painless?

This. Rats are an insane nuisance, if PETA wants they can come humanely trap all of this guy's relatives living in my attic. If not they'll be suffering a similar fate.

Haha, no offense taken. You're 100% right too, rats are just destructive, annoying pests. They are also extremely hard to get rid of, and once you get of them to keep them away.
In summary PETA can pretty much go fuck themselves if they're going to start defending rodents.

My cat killed a mouse and ripped its head off. The body was left in rather plain site; the head was in my pant-leg, stuck on the inside by the dried blood.

I also have pet rats, not all of them are the pests people imagine them to be but posting a picture of a dead mouse, and then mutilating it on purpose like another poster in this thread did is beyond humane and outright disgusting.
