If it makes you guys feel any better he probably couldn't feel much pain because he was probably in shock. The fact that he didn't try to cover his face leads me to believe this. Holy fuck I think I'm going to cry :(
He probably did :crying:

Definition Injury to the head may damage the scalp, skull or brain. The most important consequence of head trauma is traumatic brain injury. Head injury may occur either as a closed head injury, such as the head hitting a car's windshield, or as a penetrating head injury, as when a bullet pierces the skull. Both may cause damage that ranges from mild to profound. Very severe injury can be fatal because of profound brain damage. Description External trauma to the head is capable of damaging the brain, even if there is no external evidence of damage. More serious injuries can cause skull fracture, blood clots between the skull and the brain, or bruising and tearing of the brain tissue itself. Injuries to the head can be caused by traffic accidents, sports injuries, falls, workplace accidents, assaults, or bullets. Most people have had some type of head injury at least once in their lives, but rarely do they require a hospital visit. However, each year about two million people suffer from a more serious head injury, and up to 750,000 of them are severe enough to require hospitalization. Brain injury is most likely to occur in males between ages 15 and 24, usually as a result of car and motorcycle accidents. About 70% of all accidental deaths are due to head injuries, as are most of the disabilities that occur after trauma. A person who has had a head injury and who is experiencing the following symptoms should seek medical care immediately: * serious bleeding from the head or face * loss of consciousness, however brief * confusion and lethargy * lack of pulse or breathing * clear fluid drainage from the nose or ear Causes and symptoms A head injury may cause damage both from the direct physical injury to the brain and from secondary factors, such as lack of oxygen, brain swelling, and disturbance of blood flow. Both closed and penetrating head injuries can cause swirling movements throughout the brain, tearing nerve fibers and causing widespread bleeding or a blood clot in or around the brain. Swelling may raise pressure within the skull (intracranial pressure) and may block the flow of oxygen to the brain. Head trauma may cause a concussion, in which there is a brief loss of consciousness without visible structural damage to the brain. In addition to loss of consciousness, initial symptoms of brain injury may include: * memory loss and confusion * vomiting * dizziness * partial paralysis or numbness * shock * anxiety After a head injury, there may be a period of impaired consciousness followed by a period of confusion and impaired memory with disorientation and a breakdown in the ability to store and retrieve new information. Others experience temporary amnesia following head injury that begins with memory loss over a period of weeks, months, or years before the injury (retrograde amnesia). As the patient recovers, memory slowly returns. Post-traumatic amnesia refers to loss of memory for events during and after the accident. Epilepsy occurs in 2-5% of those who have had a head injury; it is much more common in people who have had severe or penetrating injuries. Most cases of epilepsy appear right after the accident or within the first year, and become less likely with increased time following the accident.
It's plausible that he didn't; however, I think he moans when they do it. I'd have to re-watch it to see :( Edit:
If it makes you guys feel any better he probably couldn't feel much pain because he was probably in shock. Edit: The first few hits with the supersoaker(sledgehammer in a plastic bag) probably put him into unconsciousness as he doesn't block the blows. His breathing becomes more intense when they stab him with the screwdriver. He starts to make soft moaning sounds when they continue to stab him. He grabs his stomach. Covers his eye after the kid jabs the screwdriver into it- Yep, he felt every damn thing they did to him.
Yep, he felt every damn thing they did to him.
I can't even begin to a imagine a worse hell.
I can't even begin to a imagine a worse hell.
He could probably hear them laughing too.:geno:
I didn't even know what the yellow thing was until I read this thread, I thought it was some sort of plastic thing... Why was the hammer in a yellow bag?
Oh my fucking god, I couldn't watch that for more than half a minute... Those psychos should go burn in hell, that's what they deserve! I mean... what a sick world... It made me really sick when they zoomed in to the poor guys face, bleeding... RIP guy that got murdered!
I didn't even know what the yellow thing was until I read this thread, I thought it was some sort of plastic thing... Why was the hammer in a yellow bag?
It's easier to dispose of a blood soaked yellow bag than a blood soaked hammer.
Wow, worst things is that they just picked a random guy that was just going to the store to buy candy and food for their kids.
They have been given prison sentences.
The heaviest jail term was handed to Roman Kuzin, who received 20 years in jail. The two alleged ringleaders of the group, Artur Ryno and Pavel Skachevsky, were given 10-year sentences in a penal colony. Their sentences were the longest they could have received, as they were minors at the time. Four other members of the group received jail sentences of between six and 12 years.
Absolute disgrace. A year per murder. The whole youth/adult boundary thing should be scrapped, at least for cases such as this. If they commit crimes like this when they are 14, they will sure as hell do it again when they are released when they are 20 somethings. Congratulations Ukraine, you just put mass murderers in prison for a shorter time than hackers.
Congratulations Russia
Ukraine.
Man, you are so hard. Fuck you. What do you honestly get out of trying to act like a badass on a forum?
Reactions like yours.
Is "How would you feel?" the only rebuttal you guys have?
Well, you've already proven that you only think of this as something to gawp at and prove your hardness, and you clearly think it makes you a harder person by watching it. I agree with the other guy, I don't think you ever have lost anyone in your family.

Also, I still want to know why the video being on the internet is so hurtful that it justifies the consideration of censorship.

Well, I think it is a little inappropriate to joke about a video that shows a man getting brutally killed. How old are you?

Also, I still want to know why the video being on the internet is so hurtful that it justifies the consideration of censorship.
The only time you should have a sense of humour around this stuff is when everyone you know is dead and you need gallows humour to keep you sane. Which, hopefully, is never. I'm not against censoring this video. I think that people should be aware of the horrible brutalities that can occur in our world. What I am against is people like you thinking that you should get to see everything for no reason other than to gawp and make jokes. I've said this before, I'll say it again - how would you feel? Would you want a video of your mother being brutalised with a sledgehammer posted on the internet, just so that people could make jokes about how they came/need more gore? It's called empathy, and you're no better than them if you don't have it.
I watched the whole vid, and now I'm shaking like fuck and about to throw up. I suggest people who can't stand blood not to watch this video...

Steve Irwin once said that if he were to be killed by an animal, he wanted any footage of it to be distributed. His wife said no.

Just as disgusting of a sentencing, but I believe unconnected.

It didn't work, because closeted nerds like you will make Steve Irwin jokes all the time. Real death isn't funny. If you had witnessed it you wouldn't say any of this. Let me just reread that. My little brother is almost like him. Grown up with halo3 and counter strike. All he knows is shoot this. Laugh at the poor bloke whos getting shot. They are just to braindead to have learned any empaty or compassion, since the community, especially 4chan doesn't embrace this. Just look at the news. There's always some story of someone getting shot.

Cause if you live within 50 miles of me, well...
I watched the whole thing a few days ago and didn't feel a thing over the course of the video. Since then I've felt horrible, not because of the video, but because it didn't seem to affect me, how could I have watched that and not felt anything? Does this make me just as bad as the murderers, because I clearly have no sense of empathy? I agree that what these people did is sick, and they should be punished, however for whatever reason, I didn't feel any remorse while watching.

You have probably become desensitized. Only cure is to stay away from the sick stuff for awhile. When you watch it again after some time, you will probably feel something. I had the same thing.
What the fuck.. Seriously, this is worse than ANY shock site. Glassinmyass, Pain olympics, move over.
this video is gonna be the next big shock site, i just know it...
Ugh. I'm not usually bothered by that type of stuff but jeez. I got about ten seconds in and began to feel sick.
