Bites reported across London and Kent as south east sees influx of Britain's most poisonous spider

Weirdly enough, we had one of these crawl out of the sofa a couple of weeks back. Seemed fairly docile, even when my bastard of a housemate flicked it towards me.
Fuck you, Canary Islands!
Not really I was preparing this one for a specimen jar, I had already killed it at this point.

May I ask where you live?
I live in Kentucky and Black Widows are native here, and they're meant to be really common. I haven't seen any my whole life until the past few years though. Unfortunately within the past 2 years I've killed about a dozen just outside my house. Last week there were FOUR, two male, two female, in my Grill. Turned that motherfucker on full blast and roasted them but it's still scary.
I'm the opposite of an arachnophobe but these things are nothing to fuck with.
"can kill those who are allergic to it. However, it will only attack if provoked."
To be fair, unless you're allergic to the bite, the most it could do to you is cause a bit of irritation, a burst of fear and maybe a little bit of pus.
To be honest, we should be lucky we don't have the Brazilian Wandering Spider here.

Also you have to remember that most spiders aren't that aggressive. Most of them only bite you if they get stuck between fabric and your skin. Hell you could break an orbweaver's web and it'd just stay chill.
I work in a UK supermarket and we've found a dead one of those before in with the bananas. Very dead thankfully, then our pest control people ID'd it for us as best they could.
I'm really hoping these don't come up to Aberdeen. :tinfoil:

This one was in TN, I see them and brown recluses pretty often.
Well fuck, time to leave the south east. Any kind Northerners or Welshies got a spare bed? :tinfoil:
Well, winter is coming and insects aren't good with cold, so if you manage your house temperatures right you might be able to chill them out maybe.
Also, these are probably worse than the brown recluse, since brown recluse fangs are apparently too small to puncture most human hides, even though their venom is apparently necrotizing to an extent and in very rare cases can cause your red blood cells to explode.
Oh shit, i've had three of these living in my room for the last few weeks and i didn't think they were dangerous- my usual policy on spider immigration is to just leave them alone because they kill mosquitoes and wasps, but now the spiders themselves can "sting" me oh nooooooo
Good thing I live on the opposite side of the world in Australia!
wait....

fuck these. Banana spiders bite basically gives you a huge boner until you fall over and die
Fuck this, I'm moving to the most barren, windswept and cold part of Ben Nevis I can find.
I live in East sussex, those bastards better not be getting here any time soon...
The spiders don't belong in UK.
It's so fucking cold up here in Canada that we don't get much spiders. I rarely see them crawling around but if I do, I squash them with any item nearby.
We should probably be wary of any spider wearing a rorschach pattern.
Heading north in years to come?

Which answer to the ecclesiarchy, which in turn is policed by the Ordos Hereticus, which, in turn is also responsible for policing the other two Ordos.
So, in short, you're stuck with the spiders.
