Apparently Cruz just suspended his campaign from what I'm seeing on TV on CNN.
Now he can go back home and enjoy his collection of human skin.
Also holy shit
Ted is Ded according to NBC #PatriotMissile #TedCruzDown
Bernie campaigners have hit my area hard, I had 2 people come to my door in the last week and three leaflets. It'll be an interesting day. I've seen no Hillary campaigners or even yard signs in my city. My girlfriend and I voted a few weeks ago ahead of time.
I actually worked in the campaign in my area. What they are doing is their "Get Out The Vote" effort. Basically what's happening is that they're going door to door to identify Bernie supporters. Then, they went from door to door to make sure that the known Bernie supporters actually got out to vote. They probably asked you questions like "What time are you going to vote?" in an effort to get people to actually think about their plan to vote. This has been the primary strategy of the campaign, and supposedly research shows that it's the most effective way to get Bernie votes.
Guardian just reported Ben Carson leading in Wayne County. Bug, or just a really weird set of voters?
I guess you can't stump the trump.

They're taking the same sleeping pills as he is.
An interesting note was that when going from door to door, they would ask first if you supported Bernie or Hilary. If the person responded with Hilary, they would end the conversation and intentionally not tell them about election day or what time they were going to vote. The hope was that Hilary supporters forgot to vote :v:
Sanders lost fair and square, stop blaming the democratic party. If Sanders runs as an independent it would destroy his political career along with any progress he has made this election cycle.
You know, except for the money laundering, denial of the independent vote, voter disenfranchisement, superdelgate shilling, and media bias. Yeah if you discount all those he lost fair and square.
He'd have to winning first for them to screw him out of a win.
We get it man, you don't like Bernie and think he has no chance of winning. You don't have to comment on every single pro-Bernie post, you're doing it so much you confused a post clearly about Trump for one.

Indiana didn't update the republican ticket.

Are you sure they wouldn't just say "Thank you for your time" and leave? If they're not supporting the nominee you're campaigning for I think it'd be best to not waste more of their time by blabbing about election day.

Screenshot proof, to prove I'm not hallucinating. And because it's kind of funny.
The numbers just updated, though, Trump leads. Total votes dropped by 16,000 exactly, nobody else's numbers changes, so it seems someone at Guardian fat-fingered Carson's numbers from 245 to 16245.

Yeah, that's what they did. They just ended the conversation there then, said thank you for your time, and left without going through the rest of the script about Election Day, vote times, etc. They would try not to remind Hilary supporters about the dates and times is the point I'm getting at, in the hopes that they would forget.

Are you 100% sure that was their intention? I think it's just decency to get out of the person's face ASAP if they're not supporting who they're campaigning for.

I've seen nothing but Bernie and Trump bumper stickers and yard signs in my county.
The only Hillary bumper sticker I've seen also has Obama stickers from 2008.

Yes. I spent a lot of time training the canvassers that went out and this is what we told them. Don't remind the Hilary supporters of election day.
Though you're right: Part of it is pure expediency. We instructed the canvassers to not exceed 3 minutes in a conversation because we sent out canvassers to areas where they had to knock on dozens of doors per hour. Some of them knocked on as many as 40 or 50 doors in a route so they had to haul ass. I guess the not reminding thing was something of a side-effect then.
Goodbye, Ol' Lyin Ted! Hahaha, WOOO!

Isn't that being somewhat deceitful?

Couldn't they just wear a Bernie Sanders t shirt or something
Isn't that being somewhat deceitful?
As long as it supports Bernie's cause, God forbid if they were Clinton canvassers you'd hear about it day and night on the 'punch.
Isn't that being somewhat deceitful?
Maybe. An argument about the ethics of an omission in expediency could be had for hours so I'll just leave question up to you guys to answer for yourselves, individually.

"Ask them who they're voting for election day." "Don't remind them of election day." ???
Couldn't they just wear a Bernie Sanders t shirt or something
Most of them did. They still had to knock on the door and initiate the conversation though.

Yeah, I know, I thought the same shit.

Bernie is still a political animal. There a diff between lying about the times vs not mentioning it.
I should note that I'm not really saying anything to make a point, just thought it would be cool to lend some insight into the inner workings of a typical local Bernie campaign.

A lie by omission would be a lie.
Sanders wins Indiana!
[editline]3rd May 2016[/editline]
The Bernroads of America!
So now that it's basically trump vs hilary now, what does everybody think?
That being said I would believe Sanders will drop out soon now that Ted is out of the race.
A lie by omission would be a lie.
How is that a lie? They didn't lie about something by saying nothing. That doesn't make any sense
