So now that it's basically trump vs hilary now, what does everybody think?
I think I'm going to need a lot of beer.
That being said I would believe Sanders will drop out soon now that Ted is out of the race.
He's said many, many times that he will stay through until the convention.
Unlike Cruz, Bernie could win at the convention lmao

So did Cruz.

That was before the Republican nomination was handed out.
So did Cruz.
It's pretty obvious that Bernie isn't Cruz. He's also currently in a better position than Cruz, delegate-wise. Even if it's unlikely that he'll win the nomination from here, he will almost certainly be going into a contested convention. He won't give the Dem nomination up without a fight.

I dont feel like it
So did Cruz.
Cruz mathematically cannot win the primaries by vote, and with Kasich still in the race he's able to affect things by dropping out. The only way he can win at all is a contested convention, which I think is a bit more likely after he's dropped out.
Sanders could theoretically win, and with nobody else in the race but Clinton, has nothing to gain by dropping out.

This says otherwise, though it should be quite close.

And really, there's no harm in doing so- sure, he's most likely not gonna come out victorious, but the more he pushes the more Hilary might take up a few ideas of his. Here's hoping.

Some have argued that a gracious bow-out now would help him in 4 years if he decides to run again, and that keeping on will only damage his chances next time.
u will never give up will u
Well he could win mathematically. There's no way for him to be 100% unable to win until it's over. But realistically he doesn't have a reasonable chance of pulling it off at this point.

Or some sort of position within a Clinton Administration. I think that would be the smartest move for him at this point.
All of you haven't witness the true power of Bernie yet. Bernie will defy every law of mathematics in the universe.

If Hillary wins the general (very likely), that's eight years (parties basically never drop an incumbent - she'd have to do something like get oral sex from Monica Lewinsky on camera for Sanders to have a chance of getting a nomination out from under her). At which point he will be 82, over a decade older than Reagan was at his election. I find it quite unlikely he'll be in shape to be President at age 86.

Canada here I come. I'm sorry for ever leaving you.

I guess it depends on how good or bad of a president Hilary is. The chances are slim, but people have still argued that the move is still the smarter one.
Canada here I come. I'm sorry for ever leaving you.
nah you won't go back

Are you a US citizen or not
Are you a US citizen or not
Nope
On the bright side, Cruz dropping out basically means that the GOP can confidentially go with Kasich should Trump somehow not clinch it (granted, that'd basically require Kasich to go 50% against Trump from here on out (He needs to win 210 out of 445 following deleagtes to contest) and that likely isn't happening), and Kasich, should he somehow manage to get in, is far less likely to screw over the country in the way Trump, Clinton or Cruz would.
u will never give up will u
Why would you want us to?
Kasich's chief strategist just confirmed that they will stay in the race and win the nomination :v:
A lie by omission would be a lie.
What lie? How could reminding them of the election or thereby lack of doing so be a lie?
What lie? How could reminding them of the election or thereby lack of doing so be a lie? It's just not telling them...
It's not, but you can easily lie by not saying things, his reasoning is flawed. Most likely case is like every single other campaign they don't want to waste time for either side.
I think I'm going to need a lot of beer.
The next four years will be one hell of a hangover.
So basically nothing has changed?
Is trump the nominee now. ?
