It could actually bring people closer with a shared reaction of disgust, and it can help people come to terms with the fact that the person is really dead. An extremely small percentage of citizens in Toronto own firearms and most of the killings are done by gang members. Hell there was a drive by shooting outside my brothers dorm room a few months ago. Where as in the states you can keep a gun in your house/on you in case there is a time in your life you need to defend yourself since shit like this can happen to anyone. I wish I could say the victim in the article could have fought back, I'd like to know if it was a break in or if the murder was done by someone she knew or someone in the family.

fuck man I snipped it don't do this look fair enough I don't have facts to back up my assertions but I am glad I don't live in the US, gun laws are stupid here but I know a lot of fuckwits who shouldn't own guns, I've sat in rooms with them and they've proved it to me. If it were more lax at least a couple of my friends would have killed someone by now

fair enough, personally I honestly prefer it things the way things are here. I can get a .45 one day. tbh I'd probably eat a bullet so it's better off staying away from that until I'm a bit older than 21

honestly I haven't liked any of the things the mods have done here over the years to "clean up" but I think this removal of porn avatars, CP and horrible fetish threads are the greatest things to happen here since the removal of the smartness system.
