Not really
And by extension Canada.
As long as you exclude Newfoundland, of course.
I saw onion posted a piece about this to their Facebook page, and I assumed it was a parody article and didn't really happen, but I remember thinking to myself 'ha this is something I could actually imagine NK doing, they're indistinguishable from a parody of themselves'
Only they actually did do it
Since we're on the topic of the DPRK, what would be the consequences of a US/NATO invasion of North Korea?
Probably the destruction of Seoul, at the very least. We have next-to-no public knowledge of what systems they have in place; for all we know, they have a dead man's switch system in case of an invasion. Their borders and fun toys for the top generals are the only things they bother spending money on, but they have basically all of their weapons aimed at Seoul, and it's not hard to imagine that at least one of them might hit a populated area before it's shot down.

Besides, isn't NATO only meant to intervene if a NATO-allied country is attacked?

They probably have shit fixed on Japan too.
Nah the US breaks it by having their tradition of being so special that it needs their own standard, PST, PDT, PT, CDT, MT, BBQ etc jesus christ why can't you just use GMT-5 for fuck sake instead of arbritary names that often means the same thing
They're nicknames. GMT-N is still valid.
It's kinda funny two countries in same degree are using different timezone
Why cant the time just be the same everywhere, does it matter if its 3 pm in the middle of the night?
What shocks me is that no one realizes that this is just NKs first attempt at time travel.
Please no! The timezone map is already a mess and needs to be remade completely. The only large place that really has it somewhat sane is the US.
All of mainland China uses one time zone. Lets just do that.

It's not just the USA though, almost the entirety of the Northern Hemisphere has it this way in some form or another, as does Australia. (Heck, it's sillier in Europe, especially when Daylight Savings Time is taken into account)
Do you guys really think Seoul would burn to the ground if we fucked with NK?
