Oh man you used someone's avatar as a punch in a disagreement. Aren't you proud of yourself? You know, its fine that people are upset that there was a weak ending to something. There have been tons of movies, games, and books that ended with down right terrible endings but are those people going around demanding their money back and raising money and insulting people the creators? No, they deal with it. And that's what every ME fan should do. Its ridiculous that people are acting like ME3's ending is the equivalent of losing a loved one to a homicidal criminal. I seriously doubt any of you all will even give a shit about ME in the next 10 years or so. Just move on, it's a fucking game. Embrace the hundreds of hours you had fun with in this game and stop acting like none of that matters anymore all because of a 10 minute cutscene. Jesus Christ. It's pathetic seeing people acting like this.
he used it as a punch because said person was saying "almost as bad as weaboos." with an avatar that made him look exactly like one... which is like bitching about bronies with an MLP avatar and people are pissed because when you spend 60$ on a game in this economy, you should get a good, quality product. 60$ is a LOT of money, with 60$ you could feed yourself for about 2-3 weeks. The ending was hypocritical because it completely fucked the point of mass effect, which is to have decisions based on what you did in the game. Just imagine watching a disney movie, but the bad guy wins in it and everyone is completely screwed over, and it's a shit ending... didn't expect that, did you? and you were basically shammed completely out of that money you spent for that movie. because the point of a Disney movie is to have a happy ending "Just deal with it" yeah I'm sure everyone can also "just get that money back that they wasted" too
and people are pissed because when you spend 60$ on a fucking game in this economy, you should get quality products. 60$ is a LOT of money, with 60$ you could feed yourself for about 2-3 weeks.
you shouldn't be buying games if 60$'s is a huge problem. there are more important things. not to mention you know, most students don't actually buy their games.
[sp]The kid is due to Shepard hallucinating due to being indoctrinated by the reapers or some shit[/sp]
Um no, that's a theory not a fact.
you shouldn't be buying games if 60$'s is a huge problem. there are more important things. not to mention you know, most students don't actually buy their games.
it's a luxury item, yes, but you should still be entitled to your money. yeah, you can simply 'not buy it', but the economy works by spending, what else are you going to buy? extra food when you already have enough?
Um no, that's a theory not a fact.
I don't know, I just went with what I heard
Keep Hamburger Hepler away from the ending.
Hepler has nothing to do with ME.
he used it as a punch because said person was saying "almost as bad as weaboos." with an avatar that made him look exactly like one... which is like bitching about bronies with an MLP avatar
Not even remotely close? You can enjoy anime or anime-styled pictures without being a weeaboo. Same as liking MLP but not being a brony.
and people are pissed because when you spend 60$ on a game in this economy, you should get a good, quality product. 60$ is a LOT of money, with 60$ you could feed yourself for about 2-3 weeks. because the point of a Disney movie is to have a happy ending
Oh here we go. The "economy" curve ball. If money is that tight for people, don't buy games. And Mass Effect 3 is a quality product so what's the problem? And I don't see why, if I enjoyed the majority of the film, why would I request my money back for a bad ending? I was entertained and got a lot out of the majority of the product? Same goes for ME.
ok first off, second off that isn't obsessing over anything, that's just being offput that a series they've put money and time into, and gotten hyped up for the conclusion for, ended on such a weak and shitty note that completely invalidated everything you'd done in the previous two games you're not a very bright individual
lets bring my avatar into this because im cool and edgy, right guys?

And like Chunkymonkey said, not everyone else is you, most people watch movies / play games to see how everything ends, this should be common sense... thus, shit ending? shit product. The ending is a reward for most people. It gives them a sense of achievement. ME3 ending couldn't have given anyone any sense of achievement... Also, I have an idea, lets test the quality of a product according to it's ending... lets make a new Twilight movie and the entire time, it'll look like Edward is going to win, but the last 5 minutes basically involves him dying, and then the rest of the main characters dying... THE END. Lets see how many people get pissed off. According to you, that wouldn't piss you off, because you know, the ending doesn't matter at all, right? No, the ending must have a meaning or message, and a point.
Grr I'm angry!!!
fixed
lets bring my avatar into this because im cool and edgy, right guys?
oh check it out low grade sarcasm still doesnt make what you said any less fucking retarded bro people are angry and rightfully so because what they got in terms of endings for this game they shelled out 60 bux for was THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE of what they were promised in the marketing campaign. I don't see how that's such a hard concept for you to grasp. It's pretty simple.
Oh man you used someone's avatar as a punch in a disagreement. Aren't you proud of yourself?
its a p valid rebuttal i mean shit look at that thing

They were promised a phenomenal game and that's what we got. Where did Bioware promise, in their marketing/advertising, that the ending was going to be the best fucking thing in the universe? And for that matter, what a game is and the quality of the ending is subjective.
Rightfully angry? Yes. Entitled to refunds? No. They got what they were promised. They got a phenomenal game with a bad ending. So what? Boo-fucking-hoo.
...No they DIDN'T get what was promised. Bioware told everyone the ending was going to depend heavily on all your choices in the past games, and look, everything you did mattered jack shit. It was all the same ending. Hence, the complete opposite of what was advertised. [editline]22nd March 2012[/editline]
im surprised you dont say that when you look in the mirror.
terrible

They never promised shit to anyone, the endings did change based on what you chose, just because you didn't like it doesn't mean you deserve your money back.
im surprised you dont say that when you look in the mirror.
no comment
no comment
already went over this, quoting someones avatar does not make you cool, edgy, or give you a foothold in any argument. try making a valid point next time. They promised us closure. We didn't get any. They promised it wouldn't be a "Lost" ending. It was. They promised it wouldn't be a pick A, B, or C ending. It was.

And yet I'm only told Bioware promised X but yet no one has provided any evidence.
pictures with text, how convincing, lets see the actual quotes. [editline]22nd March 2012[/editline] you know, where they actually said them.
Knew someone would say that. I don't have direct links on hand ya know. If you wanna verify because them then knock yourself out. If you don't want to acknowledge them then I really don't give a fuck but those are the actual quotes and they were complied into a compilation video. Besides I thought you buggered off. Taking a page of of BioWare's book there by breaking your promise I see.
didnt promise anything, but now im leaving. good comedy show guys, keep making tools of yourselves
pictures with text, how convincing, lets see the actual quotes. [editline]22nd March 2012[/editline] you know, where they actually said them.
you can google the quotes and the interviews come up

Look up the source for yourself, the proof is out there. Those quotes have been around for a while and if you follow bioware or what Casey Hudson has been saying, you'd know that. If you want to white-knight, go ahead, nobody fucking cares, but people still have legitimate reasons to be angry when something is said and what's actually done is another.
