It didn't really keep my interest. [sp] Slow intro, actually a lot of the scenes were pretty slow. [/sp] I guess because I've never seen breaking bad. It's a good thing they came after TWD, that boosted their ratings. (the same way Talking Dead coming on right after TWD boosts their ratings.)
Yeah, sure.
If you don't think that a show won't get a ratings boost because of a major show/event you are mistaken. The show after the Superbowl, the blacklist? A lot more viewers than usual. People leave their TVs on the same channel, thus getting more viewers. Tonight's ratings will probably show the actual amount of viewers they'll probably have as a baseline per episode.

I thought it was an amazing start for the show. Of course, I'm biased cause I have a man crush on Odenkirk. It's the only celebrity autograph I have.
It wasn't the best first episode ever, but it is a promising start. I felt that it lingered quite long on setting up the pathetic nature of Saul, and should of had more scenes of him just showing off his personality instead.
was expecting it to be really shitty, very pleasantly surprised.
first episode was great, as soon as [sp]tuco showed up at the end[/sp], i knew that i was going to be hooked again. come on, if gilligan was able to create something as amazing as breaking bad, i don't think he's going to disappoint here.
How can people even mention WD next to Better Call Saul? One is some poorly written drama flick and the other a fucking masterpiece.
well with TWD as soon as [sP]he got bitten it was a bunch of feels filler for me, and it sucks to see him go but they dragged his death on way to long ( see all the other dead characters talking to them it was okay for a bit but they dragged it to long.)and it's tiring to see people die do to losing you're guard down. So far the best episode this season was the cannibal camp at start of the first mid season.[/Sp] also was it just me or did Better Call Saul have less ads.
It's very good. The potrayal and build up kept me watching With anticipation. I love how they are building up his character from the ground and showimg how desperate and poor he is yet helpful to his friend.
Ah fuck nobody told me this was tonight. Shit.
Ah fuck nobody told me this was tonight. Shit.
we'll now you have few day's less you have to wait for the next episode.
I thought Walking Dead was as good as Better Call Saul last night. I love both shows and I refuse to pick favorites.
walking dead was another all time low. it was so horrifically bad. saul was phenomenal, i will never understand you
I felt bad for The Walking Dead. That episode was actually pretty good as far as The Walking Dead goes, but it was completely and utterly overshadowed by Better Call Saul, which was fucking fantastic. Still didn't beat Breaking Bad's premiere episode, which had me hooked from the get go, but it definitely holds its own against Breaking Bad.
uhhh WD had 15.9 million viewers BCS has 6.9 million
I think he meant overshadowed in quality walking dead is a ratings behemoth and there's no reason to compare it to anything else on tv
uhhh WD had 15.9 million viewers BCS has 6.9 million
Beside ratings, which ever show between the two being more enjoyable is solely up to each individual. I found Better Call Saul boring, I've never seen Breaking Bad so I don't have the story of Saul or any of the characters that are appearing on this series. I've watched TWD from the beginning and I enjoyed the episode, more so because of who was there, over what happened. I would say TWD was better, because I felt more entertained. Which is my opinion, it seems like a lot of people enjoyed both TWD and Saul.
lol
Case and point on varying opinions.
Who do you think you are? The one who knocks?!
Wow... That was really ugly.
BCS was great, and I can't wait for the next episode.
I wish it was on netflix in the US.
Possible repost: For people in the US, the first two episodes are available for the next 30 days or so on the official AMC site. link: http://www.amctv.com/full-episodes/better-call-saul
Kind of weird that this is being marketed as a Netflix Original Series in the UK
Kind of weird that this is being marketed as a Netflix Original Series in the UK
About time you get the shaft when it comes to TV. UK has awesome TV shows and the USA has dick all

Why are brba fans always trashing on walking dead? Not the best show around obviously, but there are far worse shows out there. Is it cos theyre both on amc or what, lol
you don't need to be a fan of breaking bad to dismiss the walking dead, just watch any other tv shows that's actually good??
I have high hopes for the show. I want to know more about the character.
I wonder if they are going to do the walter white formula for Saul; He starts out relatable, but slowly he does things which make him a bad person.
