I already mentioned it in another thread, but seriously, what is WRONG with the news today? Another thing that is important to mention, is the fact that we actually had a genuinely good news day for once quite recently.

Importing is a simple matter of logistics, the real reason guns are so rare in Japan is because of the process to get a firearm to begin with, as well as the culture of Japan which places far more emphasis on bureaucracy. It is also generally a peaceful country.
