I hope they improve from New Vegas. I love the fallout series, but all that DLC was unnecessary
The story is not clear, however, Vaults exist
Surprising.
Will MIT still be around?
all the quests were go here kill this or pick up this item
dungeons were all the same
no enemy variety
voice acting

actually the new vegas dlcs are one of the only DLCs worth buying in a game

New Vegas had some great DLC. I like how they all had their own unified story, it worked really well.
Better than the shit DLC that FO3 had
Why are y'all saying Skyrim was shit, exactly?
Because it's dumbed down garbage. The two things it did was improve the graphics (TONS of graphical glitches so I don't even think this one counts) and the combat. Everything else was dumbed down from Oblivion which was already "streamlined"(dumbed down) from Oblivion.
The setting was just boring. There was nothing appealing about it. I thought it'd get better from Cyrodil (generic medieval world) but no, it just got worse.
There is no consequence for anything. Why is it that I can become the headmaster of every single guild in Skyrim? If I'm in the companions, the dark brotherhood should hate my guts. Not accept me as their leader. The reputation system is non-existent and I can say and do the most awful things and it won't change a thing.

Yes yes please please do this

Skyrim was very dumbed down but you have to admit it was visually pretty great. However, everything was insanely simple compared to the others + quests are too damn short.
"we don't even know who you are"
"Why I better kick you in your balls and slit your throat, I'm the dragonborn bitch, I saved the world, three times, I'm the headmaster of every guild in this bitch, and you just ignore me... kill yourself"
If they have the same team that worked on Skyrim developing this then I'm looking forward to constantly raiding ghoul-infested vaults for fetch quests. Maybe they'll go one step further and limit each settlement to one non-radiant quest.

i don't get people who say this. Either they played it on console or they're just blind. Skyrim at launch was one of the shittiest looking current gen games I'd played, holy hell. HOW CAN YOU SAY THIS LOOKS GOOD

art style and nice nitpicking lol
its obviously not perfect though
if you like skyrim, you're probably a fucking idiot
There were things I disliked about Skyrim, luckily mods fixed that for me. But what you just said there is fucking retarded.

It is great when Gamebyro isn't being a piece of shit

This is on the Ivy Bridge i7, Nvidia 680GTX, Windows 7 (at the time) and the latest Nvidia drivers. This isn't some weird configuration. I don't know why it does this but Skyrim is unplayable due to the graphical glitches even after upgrading the operating system, new CPU (Haswell 4770K) and a new GPU (780)
dont know how anyone could've completed the shitty story for that game (talking about shitrim)
art style and nice nitpicking lol
nitpicking? nitpicking? I can "nitpick" a dozen other moments where textures were stretched improperly uv mapped models, there were gigantic holes in the terrain or rocks, fish that looked like they had 32x32 textures, water that looks like it came out of a PS2 game, or more.
Goddamn it. Fallout in Boston sounds boring. I don't want Bethesda even touching the Fallout series. Leave it to Obsidian.
i dunno about you but a FOURTH "post-apocalyptic wasteland simulator" sounds pretty boring too when you look at it on paper. boston is a historically rich city (fuck you if you think otherwise) and it will kick ass to play a video game in.
dont know how anyone could've completed the shitty story for that game
Perhaps because your opinion is not fact?

No it's not. The Resource Wars are a key event we haven't seen. Stop being so small-minded.
Skyrim with guns.
That's Far Cry 3.
Suddenly Facepunch likes Skyrim again
Facepunch isn't a collective, there are many people here including myself that's always enjoyed Skyrim. Which reminds me I should invest in the Dragonborn DLC.
Perhaps because you're opinion is not fact?
let me rephrase that:
i'm not a retard, therefore i couldn't finish skyrim's storyline
Goddamn it. Fallout in Boston sounds boring. I don't want Bethesda even touching the Fallout series. Leave it to Obsidian.
But Fallout 3 was way better than New Vegas? And the only New Vegas addon that was as good as or better than the worst Fallout 3 addon was Old World Blues (Apparently they released Lonesome Road after I stopped giving a shit about the game, maybe that one's really good too)? I don't care much about either Bethesda or Obsidian but as far as their Fallout games go Bethesda's was better.
I have no opinion on the setting, I have no idea why Boston sounds boring to you, but at the same time I don't know why it'd be particularly exciting.
(I can't wait to argue about this)
i dunno about you but a FOURTH "post-apocalyptic wasteland simulator" sounds pretty boring too when you look at it on paper. boston is a historically rich city (fuck you if you think otherwise) and it will kick ass to play a video game in.
Too similar to Washington D.C. (Fallout 3 is by far my least favorite). Wish they'd do something with San Francisco or something completely opposite from what they just did. Maybe in a couple games they could go back to Boston but I'd love to see a Fallout take place in Paris or London.
let me rephrase that:

Is that so? Then why are you flaming? You're allowed to have an opinion, but calling others retarded because they like something you don't just makes you look like a jackass.
nitpicking? nitpicking? no shit theres a lot of bad parts, its a game
but when people are blindly retarded and one sided about it like you are then lol yeah

kill streaks dlc confirmed
All these post apocalyptic games are set in America. What about the rest of the world? Hell they talk on and on about how America annexed Canada, but we never get to see what it's actually like there.
