Fallout 4 has unlimited quests
I don't think a whole Fallout game in Canada would work, but it would be cool to see an expansion pack take a look at canada, or even Britain
Great Unless they either make two separate versions (lol yea right), or can the 360 and PS3 versions, it's gonna be underwhelming.
2015 and Xbox 360 + PS3? Bullshit.
2015 and Xbox 360 + PS3? Bullshit.
Put this into account, it took a while for the PS2 to be totally be phased out of the game.
Did they say the next Fallout would take place the Mojave again? Like they said in a press release, well the Mojave is still pretty fun right?
no
care to elaborate?
Put this into account, it took a while for the PS2 to be totally be phased out of the game.
AAA titles didn't get simulatenously released on PS2 and Xbox 2 years after the PS3 and Xbox 360 though.
Fallout has a big emphasis on american culture and traditions, it has always been the case. Changing that would rather upset everyone and not feel very "Fallouty".
play fallout 2. you'll realize that anywhere else but america would be really unfitting.
yeah, thought of saying gta games except that, but it doesn't really count as a "modern" gta when i'm talking gta, i'm talking 3, vcs, san andreas, iv + expansions, and v. those all do a damn good job at poking fun at the usa of america. i think gta stick with america and not other countries because a) america is a huge, easy target b) american culture is funny as hell c) bigger market, more relatable.
a GTA game could easily work in the UK considering the developers are located in scotland
I wonder is there is going to be a cycle like, Bethesda makes one game, then Obsidian makes another and so on. I wouldn't complain.
no shit theres a lot of bad parts, its a game but when people are blindly retarded and one sided about it like you are then lol yeah [t]http://www.iocaster.com/screenshots/mark1.png[/t][t]http://cdn.steampowered.com/v/gfx/apps/202485/ss_b3c5c70421af0c6a48dab2fbac88814a8827c057.1920x1080.jpg?t=1336598204[/t][t]http://www.astralvault.net/images/skyrim/skyrim3.jpg[/t][t]http://pcmedia.ign.com/pc/image/article/121/1218176/the-elder-scrolls-v-skyrim-20120207042551485.jpg[/t]
Pre-rendered bullshots? AMAZING
Pre-rendered bullshots? AMAZING
3 of those screenshots are user posted, and one is in game and certainly not pre-rendered.
Pre-rendered bullshots? AMAZING
and with the right mods it can look even better lmao
None of those are pre-rendered, you can easily do all of that shit in game, it's just fancy camera tricks, the last screenshot is in game and even has the HUD.
Maybe pre-rendered was a bad word but surely processed. The last one even has a IGN thumbnail, and the pre-last one is taken way back when Skyrim teaser came about. With having all the highest settings I can't believe 1st one is a completely valid one, the second one is the most believable to be legit. Not convinced.

It's even easier than it was before to make bethesda games look good. This screenshot is nothing really amazing, it dates back to release and I had no graphics mods/ENBs installed. I might not have even been on max graphics because I got a new computer shortly after I got Skyrim. It still looks okay. If theres one thing Skyrim got right, it was the environments. Cyrodiil was dangerously boring and copy-pasted generic fantasygreen forest while off the top of my head Skyrim had marshlands, temperate forests, autumn forests, glaciers, plains, and a few others I'm forgetting.
Not convinced.
Doesn't matter if you're not convinced, the base game with the high res texture pack maxed out looks like that, and the game looks even better with many of the mods out there.

This was taken over two years ago and to this day it remains one of my favourite "pretty" screenshots.
the entire point of fallout is to take place in a post-apocalypse pseudo-50's america. having fallout in canada or europe would be like having a GTA game in europe. it just doesn't work. trying not to throw out a blanket statement here, but i've found that most people on this forum that want fallout to take place in not-america are not americans.
Canada got annexed by the USA though in the fallout universe, so it could be slightly possible.
Having it take place in Canada does open some new opportunities, though. What kind of sci-fi pop culture did canada have in the 50's?
You guys make me feel horrible for enjoying Bethesda games.
if it's still on gamebryo it may as well not even exist
the thing about gamebryo is that it's actually a very good engine but bethesda doesn't understand how to use it think about other gamebryo games like epic mickey or bully or rift or civilization 5 or pirates or catherine, they're all pretty good games. it's just when bethesda is involved that gamebryo is awful
God, when they do make a fallout 4, they better update that fucking engine. I love the game, but that engine is so out of date.
God when the do make a fallout 4 they better update that fucking engine. I think most of the problems are with the dev; not the engine.
fallout is about america end of
No, no it isn't. Fallout is about how the human conviction never changes despite the circumstances or stakes involved. Even before the Great War, when all of existence and society as we knew it was at stake, War didn't change. Post-war, nothing has changed. People still die for pointless and petty causes. People still threaten eachother with big sticks and trade shiny coins for larger sticks. That's Fallout. It's about the never-changing beast of War and the human conviction, and it has been since the very first game. You can put that in ANY scenario. Plus, the devs of the original Fallouts said if they had the money and were allowed to use a new engine, they'd make a pre-war Resource Wars RTS game set in europe.

All I want is one thing to be added, my best friend from Fallout 1: [t]http://images.wikia.com/fallout/images/8/8a/Fo1_laser_rifle.png[/t] And while they're at it, add the gun that saved my life from Fallout 2:
