The sooner people get over it, the better.

What sucks about valve is that I'm at the point where I say to myself "I'm not gonna get hyped anymore; valves best years are behind them. I had fun in 07-08 with the orange box but that's been ~7 years. I'm not gonna think about them". Then in x years when source 2 or HL3 comes out in going to run crying back to valves wide open arms and say "I knew you wouldn't do that to me; I knew that you were still good"

I legitimately do not give a shit, which is why makes this Valve stuff so confusing. Sure, Valve has changed, and sure, Valve deserves some scrutiny for customer service, but to damn them for not being who they were back in 2007 is like judging an old girlfriend for changing over the span of eight years, except even worse because your judgement is out of your entitlement for video games.
