I'll be disapointed if we haven't terraformed Mars and maybe colonised a couple more planets by 4006.
If the world ends in 2012, wouldn't the end of the end be 4006 then? [editline]04:41PM[/editline]
I'll be disapointed if we haven't terraformed Mars and maybe colonised a couple more planets by 4006.
I'd be disappointed if we didn't kill off ourselves by then.
I'd be disappointed if we didn't kill off ourselves by then.
I don't think that will be happening any time soon.
Oh shit man the water could rise a few inches if those melt
try me
try me
You're an ice cap?
I don't think that will be happening any time soon.
Informative.
You're an ice cap?
:iceburn: You just fucked yourself.
Yes it can! The bible tells me so, so it must be the truth!
The bible says that a global flood can happen if God wants so. Lrn2read
My birthday is November 1st :saddowns: But seriously it's not like Da Vinci could see the future now is it
Am I only the only one who thought of this when I saw the word "flooding"?
We do we need to know?
Why do we always need a "End of the world date"?
ohhhh fuck, my dream to outlive yoda won't come true
ohhhh fuck, my dream to outlive yoda won't come true
He was only 900-something years old.
Isn't global flooding the main reason everybody is so afraid of 'global warming'?
There isn't enough frozen H2O to flood the entire land mass, unless the entire world were like Netherlands (highest point is 7m above sea level), that won't happen.
I don't think that will be happening any time soon.
I'd be more worried about the radiation if we fired multiple nukes.
Oh shit! We must prepare... There is still time!
I hope that they in 4006 execute people that come up with this shit. Everything is on you, grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grandson.
Oh shit! We must prepare... There is still time!
Prepare for what? Even if it did happen it's not like we could do something about it. :v:
Lmao, 4006, oh noes, we has must to prepare!!!1 with... WEPON! It's not as bad as the year 1,000,002,010 though when the sun bails on us. :v:
Shit, the world ends on my 2018th birthday. What a downer
Happy Birthday Hezzy! Blow out the candles. [img_thumb]http://filebox.me/files/tccik7zg3_candles.jpg[/img_thumb]
Oh shit man the water could rise a few inches if those melt
Beaches would shrink by two millimeters. Oh fuck oh fuck we're all gonna die :derp:
Someone should've told him that a flooding can not happen globally.
It's a metaphor obviously. This is Da Vinci after all.
Panic!!!!!
I'd be more worried about the radiation if we fired multiple nukes.
Except hydrogen bomb use nuclear fusion which does not give any radiation whatsoever. Also, those sizes are really messed up. Ever heard of the Tsar Bomba? Everything was completely burned down within a radius of a few hundred km, pretty much something the size of Germany. And it was detonated pretty far in the sky too. Imagine if the thing blew up on the ground. The shockwave would destroy buildings a few countries away.
If the 4006 date is true, which I doubt, then "flooding" could just be Da Vinci's way of describing something he didn't understand, and not a literal flood. Of course, it could also be a literal flood. I suppose if the entire surface of the earth became warm and all ice was melted and the earth became shrouded in thick cloud cover, it would block out the sun which would then cool the earth and then it would rain all over and potentially freeze. Maybe the next ice age? I dunno, that's a stretch. Da Vinci was a genius though, I'd trust him on this more than I trust the Mayans.
Isn't global flooding the main reason everybody is so afraid of 'global warming'?
Not unless you're retarded and listen to Al Gore. The main problem with GW is the alteration of the seasons and the resulting wrench in the ecosystem. [editline]06:57PM[/editline] wow that was impossible
I also said I thought it was a stretch. I doubt it could actually ever happen.
Is that why all the survivors of Hiroshima suffered horrible radiation poisoning and severe birth defects?
There is a pretty large difference between the old fission bombs of 1945 and fusion bombs of today. [del]One major difference is that they do not rely on the use of a radioactive material.[/del] Nevermind that.
Everything about the end of the world is bullshit. The end of the world will not come December 21st 2012. Everyone will be scared as hell, repenting sins, all that jazz. Then, at the end of the day, everyone will be like "Wow, that was dumb. Can't believe we were so scared!" And then, on December 22nd, 2012, it will happen. How do I know? Ancient Mayans: "Hey, you know what would be really funny...?" [editline]12:11PM[/editline] I'm joking by the way
I don't think that will be happening any time soon.
Its the Fallout that kills everyone not the actual blast.
