And google "innovated" by buying out small businesses and using their ideas
What's your point? No company isn't guilty of doing stuff like that
There's nothing wrong with buying companies and improving on their ideas. Not like the company is forced to sell.
There's nothing wrong with buying companies and improving on their ideas.
Well it's essentially the same thing, they take credit for inventions that are not originally theirs
Well it's essentially the same thing, they take credit for inventions that are not originally theirs
They're not taking credit at all. They're quite up front with what they acquire.
(even if the main feature is stolen right from android and made better)
I don't care if they took the feature, but how did they make it better?
They're not taking credit at all. They're quite up front with what they acquire.
Really? Because I never knew that Android wasn't a google design until I looked it up myself. Same with pretty much every product Google has out.

Lockscreen view, notifications organized by application.
How about Google Android? Give the code to the public and let them handle updates.
Because that has worked so well for android I guess...
Because that has worked so well for android I guess...
Um, it has.

Lockscreen view, notifications organized by application.
Well that's you. Google markets Android as their own because they legally own it. The info is out there if you look it up, it's very easy to find.
There never will be. This is why Android is superior.
As much as Flash might be useful on phones, is battery hungry, resource hungry and really not convenient for mobile devices, that's why I support Apple and Microsoft's decision to not support flash, for the internet to move to equally capable and more flexible technologies like HTML5.
Android is superior to iOS? yes, it is. But clearly not because of flash support.
Really? Because I never knew that Android wasn't a google design until I looked it up myself. Same with pretty much every product Google has out.
Technically, if Google bought them, it is Google. It was just developed by someone who was formerly not part of Google.
The key difference here is, Google bought companies and had them develop things, Apple made their own versions of popular apps and banned the apps, screwing over the app developers.
Um, it has.
Then why half of Android's userbase is still stuck on Froyo...?

You have the option to enable each Flash element independently when you want it, so it doesn't affect anything unless you choose.

He's right, at least about people who aren't techies. AT&T is fucking us over. We just got froyo early this year. So I learned to root.

First, adobe is aware of the problems flash has with mobile devices and that's why they're now focusing hard on Adobe air, for people to be able to port their flash creations to html5 or native app formats...

Just looked it up, looks pretty cool. I'm sure it won't be long before android has a similar mod, if there isn't one already.

Using it right now and gotta say this was a great update. Safari has received some good changes.
Also some people need it take their head out of their arse. Android didn't invent voice control either.

ok how about Adobe Connect, CreatePDF, Ideas
you said no Adobe software
Those are also shitty applications. I am talking about things most people use, that Apple forces them away from, to use things that they endorse.
They're still Adobe apps, you can't say Apple doesn't let any adobe apps in and when you're proved wrong turn around and say they're shit, so for whatever reason they don't count.
I'm currently downloading iOS5 for my Ipod Touch Gen 4. Hopefully, it won't glitch as other people said.

They only banned one app for that reason...
This iTunes 10.5 is taking way too long to download :/

I haven't had a problem with going to a website that requires flash since 2007 when I had the 1st gen iPod Touch
because if a web dev makes a website entirely out of flash they are a shit web dev

There are multiple apps that let you use it as a flash drive. Even without a jailbreak

they dont have flash because it is a resource hog, and Apple is all about the best user experience. users wouldnt like it if their phone's battery killed itself by running useless flash things; most flash won't even work with touch displays

Because its not limiting if you don't need features like that. Hence it being a casual device. The less features like this, the more secure and simple to use the device becomes, and there are actually people out there who want that believe it or not.
