Remember when DC revealed one of their characters to be gay?
And then it turned out to be Green Lantern?
Yeah should've been Nightwing I tell ya
This takes "fuck the police" to a whole new meaning.
The main writer gets 10 years in the cube for slander.

The best part is that it was the rebooted golden age Lantern, Allen Scott, who's currently in their Earth 2 comic, so they don't have to worry about one of their A-listers having a case of the gays.
Searching rule 34.
This is actually completely right.
Judge Dredd just doesn't shove his dick up men's butts. He shoves his fist down men's throats instead.
Dredd is a meat machine. Anderson was obviously trying to seduce him in the movie. New one.
Why does he have to be anything at all?
I think it's hilarious because it's such a troll move...

I have to ask if this is shopped or not.
Dredd is the kind of character you'd expect to Asexual due to the requirements of his job.

dredd's a little silly
dredd's a little silly
I know, just wanted to prove to a friend that I wasn't bullshitting him. :v:
I thought he was to completely completely devoid of any sexual interactivity or feelings because he's a cold hearted badass who is maniacally devoted to his job.
Which I'm pretty sure was the intent. Him actually being gay seems redundant.

Looks to be...
Why not just burn the artist at the stake?
You know... 1199 AD style?
Or we could execute him with a boltgun, 40K Style.
*BLAM* Heresy! :v:
He is gay. Gay for the law.
Can we not just keep him asexual instead of picking sides?
He always had that stick up his ass, anyway.
Why is the sexuality of a comic book character relevant?
Why is the sexuality of a comic book character relevant?
Because he's motherfuckin' Dredd.

Only kind of gay that he is. Replace America with The Law.

It wasn't the Green Lantern from the movie starring Ryan Reynolds. It wasn't the Green Lantern from the animated TV show(s). It was an alternate version of Alan Scott, the first Green Lantern. The main DC Universe has no gay green lanterns

I thought there where a few after the last universe reboot.

whoops, I meant Green Lanterns.
The Judges of Ireland, for example, are not only allowed to drink and smoke, they are also allowed to get married, whereas MC-1 Judges (e.g. Judge Dredd) are prohibited from having love lives and have virtually no private lives of their own.
Taken from wikipedia.
I recall this issue being brought up multiple times in the comic, "Judges don't love, etc etc". So won't this kinda conflict with what has been said so far about the Dredd's life?
Why is the sexuality of a comic book character relevant?
Because if he's gay he's Not Like Me and I find that offensive.
This is most likely taking the piss out of other comics shoehorning in gay characters.
I think one of my favourite Dredd moments is the one where a couple of thieves break into an ultra-high security area, figuring there's something worth stealing in there.
Turns out it's Dredd's apartment. It goes about as well as you'd think.
I know of a Dredd comic panel where there is a spot light that bears the words "Judge Dredd Wears a Bra."
