My Dad's a Vietnam vet.
I think what he would most likely do if he were to hear of anything like this is just sadly shake his head and say that the Chinese have no idea what they're getting themselves into.
The man flew 50+ missions and was shot down twice, splashed down once and hit the mud once. He knows what the fuck is in those jungles, and how well the Vietnamese use them. The Chinese would be stuck faster than they can say...whatever the hell they might say if they found themselves in an unwinnable situation.
Of course, knowing the Chinese government, they'd be liable to just burn down the entire jungle and crush everything in their way. Who knows.
In America, they say there is a gun behind every blade of grass.
In China, there are ten chinese people behind every blade of grass.

I think they got themselves into that less than a century ago, and unlike the American military, the PLA trains heavily for like 6 regional conflict scenarios, this being one of them.

What is that supposed to mean? Huge usage of defoliants is a fairly logical thing to do (hello agents rainbow)
Of course, I realize that, but what I mean is that the Chinese tactically, considering their numbers and their use of ground vehicles, would more than likely cut a gigantic swath through the jungle to wherever they're headed.
Woohoo, more shit for the US to get involved in...
There goes another trillion...
Catch me if I'm wrong Ewit... Isn't that exactly what our gun trucks did when going toward Vietcong camps..?
And a country with most products labelled "made in china".
Going to war with China would fuck up both our economies. Infact, China might end up worse.
Extremely uneducated statement.

Why would China end up worse?
China's economy is almost entirely based on exports. What happens when you piss off NATO, the UN and all of your trade partners? No more trade.
Uh where on earth are you getting this from?
USA is undefeatable factbook.
edit: Get this, if there is ever a war between any two countries with an amount of nukes larger than 10, there will be no winners, only last men standing at most.
edit2: First I'd imagine a few major cities and other strategic points would be levelled with nuclear strike, after that, when both countries infastructure is down the gutter, there will be a ground force duke out which will leave shit even more of a wreck.
Edit3: And even in the case actual US soil remains untouched, it will probably be heartwarming to know South korea or even japan will be in ruin after buffering the first threat.
