When you exclude out a group due to political correctness you are telling that group that they are too weak to deserve freedom.
can't see the picture clearly, what does it say/mean?
It doesn't matter, it's wingnut gibberish, much like the post I replied to with the image. That was the joke.
When you exclude out a group due to political correctness you are telling that group that they are too weak to deserve freedom.
When you don't read the story you are telling everyone else that you're someone who is to be laughed at.
When you don't read the story you are telling everyone else that you're someone who is to be laughed at.
There's more to it than this, but I need to use 'official' sources. I wish Fox picked it up. I could probably get more out of it then. [editline]09:59PM[/editline]
You already have one It's called "history class"
Woah woah woah woah hold up there You think that History class is a whole subject extolling the virtues of white culture? If anything it is the very opposite. It emphasizes how white people have been so horrible to minorities and the like. At least here in Maryland, anyway.
This is some of the most retarded shit I've read in my entire life

I want to start a white history club We have a black club, an asian club, a muslim club, hell we even have a christian club. I wonder what kind of shit would fly...
No such thing as "white history". There are generally German Clubs, French Clubs, Spanish Clubs, etc. at school anyways.
Because white people have.
Can we not get over it though? I thought we finished with that in this country about 50 years ago. Why not teach about the accomplishments of mankind in general, regardless of race, instead of going "LOOK LOOK HERE WHITE PEOPLE ARE BAD"

We can't just get over something that happened in the past, we have to learn about it and teach it to our children so we don't have to go through the same bullshit again. I mean, seriously, what do we really learn from hearing of our accomplishments? Very little. However, when we hear of our mistakes(especially the more embarrassing or shameful ones) it teaches us to strive for better in the future.

But, the way it's taught, it's almost to the point of saying "All white people will always be abusive towards minorities". You can't blame the people of today for the people of yesterday's problems. That would be like saying 'Well this person is the son of a former concentration camp guard, he should go to jail too'. And yet, I've had people ask me, essentially, 'why are white people so horrible like that'. I really can't say anything to them other than something to the effect of 'those are the people of the past, and I'd like to think we've moved on'.
They have that too, it's called the Ku Klux Klan
It's ok for blacks or Hispanics to make a club just about them but the second a white does it it's racist. And no I'm not talking about the KKK.
Because white people have.
In the same concept, Would you want your grandchildren to blame your generation for climate change?. Would you want to blame the christians for burning "witches", would you want to blame the muslims for 9/11?, would you blame the cavemen for being dumb? etc etc. Argument like you never works... I strive for equality, but communism however is NOT only about equality. Sure, if you describe communism with only one sentence, it sounds peaceful. But if you make it longer and read every sentence it has to offer, it's a real cruel ideology. I'd say it's like Nazism but with a nicer shell.
You already have one It's called "history class"
I'm not sure about you, but I learned about people of all colors and race in my history classes, presidents, civil rights advocates, a whole bunch of different people, Gandhi, Martin Luther king Jr, Malcom X, JFK, all different people. Where did you take history classes?

We shouldn't blame our current generation for what happened in the past, I agree. However, in order to move on we have to remember. We have to live with what our ancestors did because we don't want to make the same mistakes they did. If we just forget about what our grandparents, great grandparents, etc. did, we will fall into the same trap. Anyone who says white people are inherently racist are ignorant and racist themselves. However, if we downplay what white people did in the past(and just about every race actually) we are hurting our future.
You do realize a lot of Africans actually enslaved other Africans and sold them as slaves in America? It wasn't just white people running around Africa kidnapping people.
I'm not sure about you, but I learned about people of all colors and race in my history classes, presidents, civil rights advocates, a whole bunch of different people, Gandhi, Martin Luther king Jr, Malcom X, JFK, all different people. Where did you take history classes?
Most history classes teach mostly the achievements and mistakes of white people, since it is generally more focused on US-European history rather than African, Asian, or Latin history. If you want to get in depth in the history of segregation you take a Black History course. Black History is much narrower than normal history. It wasn't just white people running around Africa kidnapping people.
The slave trade was based in Africa and African tribes made a shit load of money capturing other tribe's members and selling them. No history class that actually goes into any depth denies this, and this also doesn't excuse our ancestors from owning them as slaves either.
And black pirates had whites slaves from scandinavia too.
And black pirates had whites slaves from scandinavia too.
Interesting(not the slave part, since that is not at all surprising, but why Scandinavians?), but that doesn't prove any point at all.
My mom's in the area I go up their a lot, the area is still pretty racial. I hear my mom throw out the n word a lot and not trying to be racist most of the blacks still look like 90's Los Angeles

That makes sense for a lot of troubles here in Sweden. Immigrants throwing rocks at firefighters, burns up policecars etc. Also, those are fascists.
When you don't read the story you are telling everyone else that you're someone who is to be laughed at.
why are you so mad?
Interesting(not the slave part, since that is not at all surprising, but why Scandinavians?), but that doesn't prove any point at all.
Blacks weren't the first nor the only people enslaved, yet a lot of them act like they are. And don't take this out of context, I don't approve of slavery, but a lot of blacks here today whose ancestors were slaves, may not be here today at all. Some slaves even lived better lives in slavery in America than they did in Africa. [editline]11:01PM[/editline] May not be here in America is what I mean. They could be living in a poor African country starving.
Oh god, not more "IF THIS HAPPENED TO WHITE PEOPLE EVERYONE WOULD GO APESHIT" as if we live in a social vacuum where we have to ignore history sure, let's pretend like slavery doesn't still affect people today.
Oh god, not more "IF THIS HAPPENED TO WHITE PEOPLE EVERYONE WOULD GO APESHIT" as if we live in a social vacuum where we have to ignore history sure, let's pretend like slavery doesn't still affect people today.
Okay, but I personally don't understand how slavery has affected someone who has not experienced it firsthand, or secondhand, or thirdhand, or fourthhand. I mean I could keep going on to prove the point that it was some generations ago but I won't. What I am saying is that yes it happened. We know, we've learned from it and now we no longer practice it. In fact we abhor it as a society. So yes, the slavery of centuries past has affected people today, but if you ask me more positively than negatively. You have to admit things have changed for the better now. Are you saying that for a white person to call foul on racism is illegitimate because of what his ancestors have done? I know for a fact my family never owned slaves. But does that mean I should keep my mouth shut if I did ever experience racism because of what my race has done? Is it right that society tells me I should feel guilty for being white? Guilty for something I have never done? Something that the people who would be telling me that I should feel guilty have never experienced? You know, I find it pretty offensive that I'm automatically assumed to be the racial bad guy given the lack of melatonin in my skin. I don't know about other white people but I find that I base my judgment of people on their actions and the nature of their character, not the colour of their skin. That's how my father raised me to be. He always told me "Judge a man not by his words, but by his actions" and it's something I hold true to. White people aren't the only race capable of racism, I hope that is evident to you. It's gotten to the point that even now I am weary of writing "black" people in reference to African Americans. You see the mainstream culture make fun of it all the time. This is how I have been trained to think. And I'm not even a WASP (White Anglo-Saxon Protestant) if it makes any difference to you. Anything I say as a white male can perceived as racism. Now before any of you try to lay it to me and say I'm making a "woe is me, I have it so bad" statement I am not. I'm giving my opinion on what I see as the facts. You can disagree with me if you want, and try to persuade me otherwise, but I must say this is what I believe and I ask that you respect it as I respect your beliefs.
Slavery is what made blacks be seen as animals and sub-human. That is still a major problem today, especially in the south. Face it, there is still a lot of racism going on today, it's something that is in our nature as humans. Just because we don't own slaves doesn't mean there aren't racial problems anymore. Ignoring that fact is deadly, because it sets us up to fall right back into the hole we have barely climbed out of.

Ignoring racism is like sticking our fingers in our ears and going "LALALALA".
Sigh, more ignorant people talking about the south as a whole, having never even been anywhere near the south.
