Eh I will just used mine for notes and basic web browsing. It's basically a non-shitty journal/planner machine with decent web browsing.
I plan on using it as a web browser, movie player, and music player. Nothing else, really.

Update: I just got off the phone with PC worlds main distribution office in the UK. Mine and every other persons order that hasn't already been processed and dispatched is being cancelled and refunded. He said there is no more stock incoming and if you have not already been assigned stock you wont be in the future. Sorry guys.

I hate the fact that the US seemingly had the most stores that sold this touchpad. I have been all around my area and nowhere is able to get me any, under any circumstances. It makes me sad that I missed the main discounts due to me being on holiday.

The good news: The Touchpad I ordered from Amazon during the Lightning Deal just arrived!
The bad news: Even before I finished going through the EULAs and setting the device up, I immediately noticed it has a dead pixel! It's at the bottom of the screen though, so it's not very noticeable. Even when watching videos and such it isn't as noticeable, and since I doubt I'd have any success with getting a replacement at this point, I'll just keep it.
Still no word from Carphone Warehouse even after they were supposed to send an update email out again to everyone today. Starting to get worried (the order ID's next to mine, 28 and 30, have been fulfilled)
People (like I) who today (24/08) were still on stage one (before processing) of their CPW Touchpad order have been able to have their orders manually processed and dispatched by CPW staff. To do this, call 0870 087 0870 and enquire about your order, I personally asked if stock had been allocated to mine. Woman asked security questions and processed the order herself. Good luck!

Awesome, I'll ring them up tomorrow morning. Should I just ask if my order has been allocated and then ask if it's possible to get it sped up (because I'm going on a luxury holiday to the bahamas* in a few days time and don't want to be without my HP™ TouchPad™ 16gb tablet)?

My insight order got canceled even when I ordered it on the 22nd and 5k units where in stock and paid for overnight shipping. I also called sales rep and was told I would receive my order. WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS SHIT.
Any ideas were I might be able to snag a 32gb one? God damn this pisses me off so bad. How the fuck does a person who orders a product which is in stock at the time get and as soon as you hit the order button gets charged for the fucking item not get the product. This has been the 3rd fucking time.
