Yes, but not on something so morbidly horrific, usually just because it was a fairly lame joke or something harmless like that, and not on national television. "Others were doing it" does not make it alright.
I didn't say it was right, I just meant it was understandable.
Fucking disgusting double-standards.
Unprofessional? It's a stupid day-time TV thing not BBC National
god damnit merge
It's American TV, do you know how many people watch this and agree with everything they say?

"OH MY GOD CELEBRITIES IM GOING TO CUM JUST LISTENING TO YOU"

Sharon clearly says
"I think this is fabulous"
It's fucking stupid how women could say this about men, but if you even thought about switching it vice versa, women would freak out and castrate you.
Yeah, that drives me insane.

Why do I have this sudden urge to kill somebody?
It's a matter of values here in America. For some reason that escapes me, people tend to value other sexual organs above the penis, like one is not equally important as the others. If, on the news, a man got his dick cut off, then most [MOST] people's reactions in America would be either a) that sucks for him or b) eugh, what's wrong with people? However, when news comes up of a woman who got her vagina cut out like a cake or something, most [MOST] people's reactions are something along the line of WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH THAT MOTHERFUCKER LET'S HUNT HIM DOWN AND LYNCH MOB HIM AND THEN MOVE TO CANADA. It escapes me how one is somehow more damaging to the person than the other.
Ah well. People are fucked up in general, regardless of race or sex or creed or orientation or mod-they-use-for-stalker.
I dunno. Some of the women actually further in the video say that it's not that funny and it shouldn't be made a joke of. I personally see it as Sharon being sick and twisted and the other women having an awkward laugh to humor her.
Let's rip out their vaginas and make them into a necklace
I really hope this gets more media attention. They have a whole show for bouncing ideas off each other.
Really goes to show what kind of people they are, or what the producers of the show think, if they all conclusively agree that spousal abuse is funny when it the woman assaulting the man.

That's the thing though. They don't ALL seem to agree. Sara Gilbert at the end even brought up the sexist double standard and Sharon basically told her to shut the fuck up and keep laughing. It was an awkward situation.
That's not how I saw it.
They all started laughing with the audience as soon as the subject was broached. Sara had about six seconds of dissent before they all just started laughing again and cracking jokes.

Probably because there's someone directing the whole conversation through her earpiece, making sure the topics and responses all pander to the target audience of the show.

To be fair, having your vagina scooped out is a bit more gruesome than having your dick cut off.

How can you even compare the two? :v:
Seriously, in my opinion mutilation is mutilation.

I do have to agree with him on that
I find both equally gruesome.

Does it matter?
Mutilation is mutilation, either way a life gets ruined.
Ah, women... they want all the benefits but none of the responsibilities that come with gender equality...
It's ok because it's a MAN'S world and we oppress women everyday

You've said it, brother

Also, Sharon sure is a pro troll...

Really come on these women really do not show maturity at all, so I emailed the the broadcaster about it. If it was to be women they would go crazy about it, though one of them is good enough person to show other wise which I will say at least she was the only good person of the group.
So fucking sad that they would laugh about mutilation, it should be looked down on if it was to be a male or female.
If this were the Colbert Report no one would have thought twice. Again it's comedy, but talk shows should have some leeway as well, especially if they're joking.

That's what I've seen. Demand equal rights, then get upset when someone doesn't open the door for them or buy dinner.

yeah bro this happens all the time.
all the time in my countless interactions with real women irl, this is constantly happening and in no way an anecdote repeated ad nauseum by dudes who feel threatened by their shitty-sitcom-inspired perception of feminism

no i'm pretty sure is always fucking dumb to laugh at mutilation
one time a woman said "we should have equal rights" but then another woman somewhere else was all like "aren't you going to open that door for me" and I'm all like adfasdgadfgdafgdfgdasfgsdfgsdf gafgadfgsdf make up your mind ladies, i guess you dont want equal rights :smug: :smug: :smug: and dont even get me started on how theyre all ugly and mad they cant get laid because i will type a super creepy thesis about that if given even the slightest prompting, your silence counting as which, i will begin writing right now.....

just yesterday my wife was talking about how she hates all men and as a dopey pussywhipped balding jim belushi sitcom dad i just took it and was all "yes honey" but then she complained about how i didn't hold the door open for her or pull out her seat for her and I pointed at her and said "AHA" and the laugh track laughed and at this point you realize what the episode's theme is but you don't change the channel, the twist is you actually, somehow like this show and find this plot interesting and original and a realistic representation of how real life works and you actually watch all 30 minutes of it and laugh at the same time as the laugh tracks and feel genuine emotions and feel vindicated when that bitch slut whore whore whore slut whore whore whore whore whore bitch whore gets her comeuppance
