Obama eats Hot Dog?
Already been in the news. So has him and a fuckload of senators and secret service guys going into a burger place for food. Oh and him and his wife getting fries, multiple times. Guy doesn't get a break. :v:
Facepunch defending Obama as always.
It could have been Bush for all I care, it wouldn't changed a thing. Of course, if it was Bush nobody would have blinked an eye.
Never underestimate Americans trying to undermine the black population.
can you seriously think of a reason not to defend him on this issue or are you just so hypocritical that you try to call people out on being thoughtlessly entrenched in their political beliefs and accomplish that very same thing in the process
You do not chew gum in formal gatherings. Anybody that didn't grow up in a trailer park should know that.
This is a ton more offensive than having Obama chew gum, atleast in my opinion. I never really saw the problem with chewing gum, atleast when you're doing it silently and not like some obnoxious douche.
It's not like he was texting on his fucking phone or anything. He some gum, big deal. If he had a drink from a water bottle people would say it was vodka and do more baseless bashing against him.
First Obama takes Selfie, Now Obama Chews Gum Whats next? Obama eats Hot Dog? "Disgraceful!" News?
look at him, spitting on everything his country stands for.
You do not chew gum in formal gatherings. Anybody that didn't grow up in a trailer park should know that.
oh i'm sorry i forgot that my elbows were on the table and picked up the salad fork instead of the dinner fork
When I was growing up, I was taught that chewing gum when talking to somebody, when somebody is talking to you, during school hours, or in formal settings are rude and I agree. Now, however, people may call me uptight for following these rules.
oh i'm sorry i forgot that my elbows were on the table and picked up the salad fork instead of the dinner fork
Interesting, I too was taught that having elbows on table are rude as well. As for the salad fork instead of dinner fork, I never have the chance to have a formal dinner that have separate forks for different courses.

Personally, I don't think they really matter, but I can kind of understand why people are mad at least. He's the fucking president though and its probably nicotine gum, his job is stressful and that kinda shit makes you want to light up again - people need to lay off his ass for doing human things and actually care about stuff that matters.
the only people who chew gum are high school kids who don't care about class obama is a disgrace
Do you think he'll get detention?
looks like it was made in 2014, the line about the russians, the economic crisis, the jobs, a heck of a ton of people staying inside even more than back in '76 when they didn't have the internet.
Demagoguery. [editline]8th June 2014[/editline]
It could have been Bush for all I care, it wouldn't changed a thing. Of course, if it was Bush nobody would have blinked an eye.
Yes, Bush got an easy ride throughout his Presidency. No-one ever brought attention to his gaffes in public settings. I don't like the man, but come on.
i feel like obama could bring about world peace and people would still hate his fucking guts for it.
i feel like obama could bring about world peace and people would still hate his fucking guts for it.
wow, what do you mean we have to give up our weapons? thanks obummer.
If it exists, someone'll complain about it

Cause that would be perfectly understandable and a far better alternative than him lighting up a cigarette. If he did that even more people would be criticizing him.

Next thing you know he'll be eating his steak well done.
This just in: People that dislike Obama will find anything to critisise about him.
US politics are retarded. You get shit spun over bubble gum. There are a lot of things you can criticise Obama about but bubble gum, why?
US politics are retarded. You get shit spun over bubble gum. There are a lot of things you can criticise Obama about but bubble gum, why?
except most of the people criticizing him at first were French, only then did the rest of 'Murica cotton on.
except most of the people criticizing him at first were French, only then did the rest of 'Murica cotton on.
US politics.
how crass
Never underestimate Americans trying to undermine the black population.
Uh... you mean like by electing them as presidents?
Uh... you mean like by electing them as presidents?
You've got the (very) vocal right wing trying to prove that he can't do anything right, and that fixated on him being the antichrist or some such shit during both elections. This would not have happened to quite the same degree if he was a white male. The US right wing is mad racist, even when they don't think they're being racist they usually aren't helping racial relations. I really wonder if shit like this would have happened to Bush and such, Obama is the first president to have things like Twitter and other social media at the forefront of global communication. Before that it would have been forums and email chain-mails, which don't spread quite as quickly as Twitter manages.
except most of the people criticizing him at first were French, only then did the rest of 'Murica cotton on.
Conservatives are whiny bitches like the French confirmed.
Also, this reminds me of when people flipped shit when he ordered a beer at a baseball game towards the beginning of his presidency
Or used notecards during a debate. Even Bush did that but no one said anything
He does "need" a cigarette, the ones he's chewing contain nicotine. I guess this does show signs of disrespect even if he doesn't mean it. There are some basic accepted rules of etiquette that some people adhere to, this might offend them.
ffs people, I wasn't justifying their reaction, I was explaining it.
