Anti-Semite is a word that has been conceived to protect a group of people from criticism that very much need the shit criticized out of them. Israel is the seat of some pretty fucked atrocities right now, so please take your gag words someplace else.
I don't care who you want to criticize. But you shouldn't be criticizing groups that include millions of people connected by ethnicity or religion because you read it in an article written by an extremely biased news agency with nationalist undertones.
Your greatest ally.
The antisemitism in this thread is baffling, especially considering that it's in reaction to what is essentially the daily mail of news sources from that region.
Maan news is an independent and respectable news agency, its not comparable to a British tabloid. Next, the study that was referred to in the article was carried out by an Israeli research institute. http://en.idi.org.il/projects/israeli-society/the-guttman-center-for-surveys/ Your antisemitism accusation is not even worth addressing.

Next, the study that was referred to in the article was carried out by an Israeli research institute.
It isn't comparable to the daily mail? Have you seen what they print?
"[The Jews] feel inferior to the nations and societies in which they live, because of the hostility and evil rising in their hearts towards others and for their plots and schemes against the nations who know with certainty that the Jews are the root of conflict in the world, wherever they reside." "[Jews are] outcasts in every corner of the earth, and not one nation in the world respects them... but Allah's curse upon them and his fury at them cause them to continue with their transgression." "Allah has stricken fear in their hearts and decreed humiliation and degradation upon them until Judgment Day"
Certainly not antisemitic at all. They only want good things for people who don't follow their specific religion. http://www.palwatch.org/main.aspx?fi=157&doc_id=8493
Criticizing Israel=Criticizing Jews=Basically committing an anti-Jewish pogrom If you guys weren't so anti-Semitic you'd realize that
For so long, everyone's discriminated against and persecuted jews...and western countries typically pity or help them on a social level. Very unusual and counter-intuitive for this population of Israel to turn the tables like this. You'd think the attitude toward any kind of ethnic hostility would be oppositional. Kind of surprising, really.

Ynet News of Israel publishes opinion pieces from a Jewish terrorist and those don't even get removed.
I don't see how other people doing the same things makes the same abhorrent, racist beliefs justifiable.
Except Maan news will remove such content, while sites like Ynet news don't.
Except Maan news will remove such content, while sites like Ynet news don't.
Yet they still keep the people behind such pieces employed, and support the same beliefs and actions against others simply because of ethnicity and religion. Removing the content doesn't mean anything when they have people like you to run PR for them!

stop defending your shit anti-jewish news site
Apparently Israel is paying students to defend Israel online. :v: Independent USAToday Huffingtonpost
stop defending your shit anti-jewish news site
Take your petty vendetta elsewhere Aspen, do you think I haven't noticed? I've already refuted that claim.
petty vendetta
Well for much of world history there has been a strong effort by many countries to answer the "Jewish question". Most of them through extreme discrimination and genocide. When a group of people feels that for centuries on end, its expected that they think a lot of people still hate them. (Given the prevalence of antisemitism even today).
This is true, but when it is taken to such an extent that a student believes that the majority of people in another country hate them, it can lead to high levels of nationalism and racism that is already prevalent in Israel today.

[editline]7th October 2013[/editline] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_antisemitism
You know, I don't usually like to say this, but.... Maybe there's a reason why they've been kicked out by literally everyone ever? (User was banned for this post ("Antisemitism" - MaxOfS2D))
You know, I don't usually like to say this, but.... Maybe there's a reason why they've been kicked out by literally everyone ever?
what the fuck? [editline]7th October 2013[/editline] the reason is ignorant racist scum and scape goating by incompetent leaders of scum
You know, I don't usually like to say this, but.... Maybe there's a reason why they've been kicked out by literally everyone ever?
bro are you fucking kidding me [editline]6th October 2013[/editline] oh my GOD that's ignorant [editline]6th October 2013[/editline] oh my GOD that's also horrible
They didn't like being discriminated against in the 40's why do they like it now. Because it "works" for them?
You know, I don't usually like to say this, but.... Maybe there's a reason why they've been kicked out by literally everyone ever?
This is anti-semite apologetics. Are you for real? There's nothing reasonable with scapegoating an entire racial group.
You know, I don't usually like to say this, but.... Maybe there's a reason why they've been kicked out by literally everyone ever?
Please tell me what it is. This is like saying "The nose knows" and what Stormweenies use.
You know, I don't usually like to say this, but.... Maybe there's a reason why they've been kicked out by literally everyone ever?
This is like the same thing many Israelis say about Palestinians being kicked out of different Arab countries.
muslims live in a broken-down spaceship above israel
except hovering over Palestine
This is like the same thing many Israelis say about Palestinians being kicked out of different Arab countries.
haha nice one to try bring that back to the israelis. the real reason jews want to have a jewish only israel is not because of racism it's because for their entire history every single time jews have been a minority they have been discriminated against. EVERY TIME. you can't say it's brainwashing to think people are out to get them, because time and time again it's been shown that people ARE out to get them. i don't agree with the israeli approach to the settlers or their approach toward peaceful protestors but i do disagree with this rhetoric that israelis are just a bunch of crazy racists. they are xenophobic but it's a xenophobia developed through an entire existence plagued by discrimination and disenfranchisement
You know, I don't usually like to say this, but.... Maybe there's a reason why they've been kicked out by literally everyone ever?
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Facepunch forum.
This is anti-semite apologetics. Are you for real? There's nothing reasonable with scapegoating an entire racial group.
No, I'm not being anti-semetic at all. I'm actually wondering why they are the be all and end all scapegoat of the past forever, across literally everywhere they've ever been ever. I never said it was reasonable, I just said that there's got to be a reason, social or otherwise why they have been the literal only peoples throughout history who have been rejected everywhere across the planet until the past few years. But none of what I've said matters, you're probably going to glaze over it, only see what you want to, and then I'm going to get banned for an opinion that I don't have.

Jewish Israelis are not an exception to the rule. It is not okay for almost half of Israel's Jews to be okay with discriminating against over 20 percent of Israel's citizens.
