When I think Star Trek, the first thing that comes to mind is space, aliens, star ships, and other planets.
So how the fuck did they manage to come up with "destroyed city with grey and orange contrast"? It looks insanely generic. It's not necessarily bad, but it doesn't get me excited or interested at all, since it can't even manage to stand out.

It's just the way marketing works in movie advertising these days, they focus on the crowd that thinks "Oooh, big hole in concrete and a city in a war this looks rad unlike that other fucking stupid star trek shit, I cant wait the action is going to be awesome". Not that it means it's going to be a terrible movie it's probably just some sort of transparent ploy to attract the largest amount of people possible to rake in profits. The people who actually have the real creative process involved with a movie usually don't have much to do with the way the movie poster is, and the people who make hollywood movie posters nowadays never focus on the art aspect but more on the sensationalist aspect.

I'll give it the Xindi War being a pretty great arc but other than that, terrible series.
Hell, I'd even take the vessel of squandered potential that's Voyager over it.
Well on the topic of the borg, wasn't it shown that Nero's ship in the first film had some Borg parts on it in the comics?
Whoever it is, I'm sure the buildings were designed by the same architect and built by the same construction company. I'd open a lawsuit.

Nero's ship had some small borg modifications that rapidly took over the entire ship, making it much larger, and more pointy than it was originally. That's also why it has that weird platform thing going on inside, and the green lights.
Am I the only one that thought the guy on the rubble was Neo? I genuinely thought it was some kind of Matrix poster, until I read the title.
They've released a teaser for Into Darkness?
Fuck just learned it was fan made, but it was really convincing.
Well, time to rewatch First Contact. Not that I'm already looking for any reason to watch it again.
