Of course, the big bitch is bound to win, since no-one cares about the little guy.
Of course, the big bitch is bound to win, since no-one cares about the little guy.
Well yeah, that's one big assumption to say the "little guy" isn't guilty. The logos are awfully similar, I doubt the guys were cavemen who never heard of EA. And if they were, shit's on them for not writing fucking EA on google.
They can be easily confused as the logos have some strong resemblance and the whole "EA Sports" brand It'd be pretty dumb if Electronic Arts didn't win though. Apparently, despite the massive difference between pandas (World Wildlife Fund) and the WWF, the court ruled that the WWF logo can cause confusion and they subsequently had to rename themselves to the "WWE" and had to censor all video footage that bear the "WWF" logo (on the turnbuckles, on ringside etc.) Unlike the WWF, the EA logos in question look the same and EA Sports can cause confusion with it as well.
I remember being confused as a kid when I saw the panda logo for the first time. I really thought it had something to do somehow with WWE.
There's a booth of these guys in the mall I work at. Every time I see it I think of Electronic Arts' logo. I was considering contacting the real EA about it myself, but I guess the deed has already been done.
If I was EA's CEO and I saw this I'd want them gone immediately so they don't give my company a bad name.
It's an E and an A. How much different can you make two letters of the same language and alphabet look from one another? And it clearly says ENERGY ARMOR under it anyway Stupid and pointless
It's an E and an A. How much different can you make two letters of the same language and alphabet look from one another? What a Crysis.
E. A. Energy armor Its in the game.
but guis negative ins are liek totally amazing11!!!! they can help ur balnce n stuf!!11!!1!
E. A. Energy armor Its in the game.
I think you mean "It's in the volcanic ash"
The main export for Energy Armor appears to be its "EA wristbands," which claim to have "negative ions" infused with harvested volcanic ash. The company claims the bands enhance nerve function and improve balance and flexibility, among other health benefits.
Am now hoping electronic arts wins.
It also seems to steal a little from Gatorade with the lightning bolt.
-edit- I am an idiot and I am also incapable of fully reading a news article.
I don't understand this. EA has a perfectly legitimate reason for suing them, they have a massive sports brand, the logos are almost identical, etc. Yet because of their dumb blind rage at EA, some people here really hope EA loses this. Wow.
Madden, NCAA Football and Basketball, NBA, and PGA are all sports games pretty much recognized by all.
Only on Moonbase Alpha
It's an E and an A. How much different can you make two letters of the same language and alphabet look from one another? And it clearly says ENERGY ARMOR under it anyway Stupid and pointless
A good logo designer can tell you that you can create a lot of different logos using just a single letter. And here we have two letters and that means that the resemblance must have been made on purpose. Just showing you a fast crappy logo with letters E and A: I hope Electronic Arts win because this is a legit trademark infringement.
It's an E and an A. How much different can you make two letters of the same language and alphabet look from one another? And it clearly says ENERGY ARMOR under it anyway Stupid and pointless
You could probably make a few million variants of E and an A. And nearly all of them might look different. That is, if the people who were designing the logo aren't completely terrible designers.
driving to school today... saw this company: little close to gamestop ain't it?
Well you can't really blame that one, it's just the name of the store written in an extremely basic font with the colors red and white used. In fact, that LoanStop one looks even nicer than GameStop's.
It's the exact same font though. Probably the reason only the S is red is because then it would definitely be too close.
It's the impact font. It's a font that's part of windows by default and also the most commonly used font along with arial and times new roman. You can't say they ripped off the font if it's a font that's used by everyone.
"WHICH ONE DO I SHOOT, WHICH ONE DO I SHOOT!"
It's the impact font. It's a font that's part of windows by default and also the most commonly used font along with arial and times new roman. You can't say they ripped off the font if it's a font that's used by everyone.
What I'm saying is, they copied four things: 1. "noun"-stop name 2. Capitilized the S in stop 3. Halfway copied the color scheme 4. Used the same font There's an assload of default fonts (roughly 190) in Windows 7. With them copying that many things it seems too deliberate. Now if it was a different name or different font, then it would seem separated enough.
