Why is that?
Because crime only happens when the cop is on duty, duh.
Kopimi, tell me this, how often do you see gun hobbyists going out on a killing spree?
"i don't know what point you're trying to make. i'm not a murderer!"
Yeah, in third world countries. Last time I checked, this absolutely does not apply to America or any first world country.
Because it doesn't happen in the best country means it's irrelevant, right? Shit still happens you can't deny it.
Yeah, in third world countries. Last time I checked, this absolutely does not apply to America or any first world country.
How about bows? Are those allowed?
How about bows? Are those allowed?
sure because bows probably contribute to like 10 deaths every year lmao
Its entirely possible, warlords and their armies raped and killed many people with machetes. Also got articles with several stabbing rampages, it has happened and can happen. http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation/story/2012-06-23/principal-charged-in-fatal-stabbings/55778990/1 http://blog.cleveland.com/metro/2012/03/columbus_stabbing_rampage_bega.html
Those attacks aren't close to as effective as mass shootings. Not to mention normal shooting deaths that occur everyday.
Wait what the fuck am I doing, this thread is nothing but shitposting I can't believe I've been fooled so long, abandoning ship
I'm absolutely not shitposting. I'm a moderator on this forum, and I'm absolutely being genuine. The fact you think I'm shitposting because I oppose people owning weapons that make it shitloads easier to murder people is pretty concerning.
"i don't know what point you're trying to make. i'm not a murderer!"
Exactly, those who collect and shoot guns for sport. Aren't the killers
yeah if I were the one living in an impoverished african village with my ar-15..... the roving army of warlord gunman would just ignore my house b/c they KNOIW how dangeous i am with an ar-15...
if we ban guns then everyone will have crossbows that is NOT good
sure because bows probably contribute to like 10 deaths every year lmao
That would be the funniest looking stickup.
knives that can kill 10 people 100 feet away with ease
100 feet away with ease? At 100 feet, you'd have to have good aim to shoot people with ease.

And even then, they can still find a gun with relative ease, there are places everywhere you can get them. did you know up to one person a year dies from blimpwatching blimpwatching is dangerous
100 feet away with ease? At 100 feet, you'd have to have good aim to shoot people with ease.
wooooooooosh
sure because bows probably contribute to like 10 deaths every year lmao
10 too many, if you ask me. Arrows were only designed to kill.
Exactly, those who collect and shoot guns for sport. Aren't the killers
wow gold star for you bud! unfortunately keeping guns legal for your shooting hobby makes them more accessible to criminals which is the entire reason people propose gun control in the first place. notice how gun control debates are sparked with mass murders, not with "jesus christ jetblack went to the range this weekend, this madness needs to stop!!"
We have a lot of people on one side of the fence saying things like "If guns were gone, these murders would still happen, only in different ways," and people on the other side saying things like "Statistics show that most of the murders are committed with firearms, so let's do away with them." Now, both sides always use graphs and statistics and examples to back these respective arguments up. I'm not sure which side I should believe, because I'm not sure that I can trust any of the statistics and graphs. There are a ton of variables and conditions, and I'm not sure if we can blame firearms for these numbers. For example, someone posted a graph earlier, trying to defend his stance for gun laws, and somebody responded by saying that the graph also coincided with increased drug related crime in the 90s. So, in other words, with all these potential variables of culture and time period and other events, can we really trust these statistics to support or refute arguments about gun crime?
The problem with the whole 'people would use other weapons instead' argument is: 1. Not all incidents are planned attacks and it is unlikely that every person who would have carried a gun would carry another weapon in place of it. 2. Even if they did, a person with a knife is much less dangerous than a person with a gun. 3. Many incidents occur due to the mis-handling and lack of understanding of the weapon. 4. A knife doesnt cause collars total damage like a gun.
10 too many, if you ask me. Arrows were only designed to kill.
yeah everyone stopped caring about your posts when you used a movie clip as evidence of car violence
Exactly, those who collect and shoot guns for sport. Aren't the killers
Why don't you just stick to airsoft then? Easier on the ears. Less of a chance of killing someone.
Yeah, in third world countries. Last time I checked, this absolutely does not apply to America or any first world country.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trinitario There are gangs in America that use machetes and knifes.
The problem is rusty, if they can't kill someone with a gun, then they will use another weapon. And even then, they can still find a gun with relative ease, there are places everywhere you can get them.
Yeah, but it won't be as easy. Are you saying we shouldn't deter things, on the off chance people will find different and ultimately less effective ways to do them?
The problem is rusty, if they can't kill someone with a gun, then they will use another weapon. And even then, they can still find a gun with relative ease, there are places everywhere you can get them.
the logistics behind killing someone without a gun and getting away with it are much more difficult than aiming and pulling a trigger unless you're planning on driving up to someone on the side of the road, throwing a knife, and then driving off??? or maybe an axe or some sort of improvised explosive device??
10 too many, if you ask me. Arrows were only designed to kill.
Guns account for the majority of homicides sooo...
If a person is desperate enough they will find a way to kill someone, so banning guns won't stop those people.
the logistics behind killing someone without a gun and getting away with it are much more difficult than aiming and pulling a trigger unless you're planning on driving up to someone on the side of the road, throwing a knife, and then driving off??? or maybe an axe or some sort of improvised explosive device??
Because homemade bombs are so easy to make everyone will use those instead! [editline]27th July 2012[/editline]
If a person is desperate enough they will find a way to kill someone, so banning guns won't stop those people.
But it would stop a lot of people. You have to at least admit that.
wow gold star for you bud! unfortunately keeping guns legal for your shooting hobby makes them more accessible to criminals which is the entire reason people propose gun control in the first place. notice how gun control debates are sparked with mass murders, not with "jesus christ jetblack went to the range this weekend, this madness needs to stop!!"
Its been a while since i've shot, but that aside. You can't strip weapons away, those who intend to break the law don't give a damn, and will acquire them anyway, taking them away from law abiding people only makes it a slight inconvenience. Have you ever been to a large city? There are ALL sorts of shady ass places you can get some weapons at, it really doesn't inconvenience a criminal much. If you were to ban weapons from the general public you ultimately end up harming those who wish no harm.
If a person is desperate enough they will find a way to kill someone, so banning guns won't stop those people.
am i having deja-vu or did you already post this exact same post before? because even on the 2nd time around it's unbacked by any evidence or logic so nobody cares
Because homemade bombs are so easy to make everyone will use those instead!
thats the point u mong
Why don't you just stick to airsoft then? Easier on the ears. Less of a chance of killing someone.
To some people, shooting is therapeutic. It's how I let off stress. I get to take anger and frustration and channel it into a piece of paper with no feelings. Though I suppose I could just beat my wife instead.
