Democrats cling onto the Senate by not much while GOP dominates the House. Prop 19 fails.
Don't all those people cept teachers get paid quite a lot?
Due to really hard work...? Teachers at my current post secondary school are making tons of money from being teachers, but live quite comfortably from being in the entertainment industry anyways. Lawyers go to school for a quite a number of years(The worthwhile ones anyways) and so do doctors and good teachers, and tradesmen need tons of experience. All hard working jobs. Guess what pays more for less work? Banking.
but srsly a rich person doesnt get paid 8$ an hour taking the shit out of old people and until they do there life will always be much easier
Except that the poll you are arguing for is conducted by a private institution either by who they choose to ask to participate or those that want to participate.

We were discussing something else in this thread. We can continue it in the other.
See? You don't understand polling. Well done polling doesn't involve that.

We are referring to a poll done by Rasmussen making claims about the United States voting population not confident in the GOP.
I don't believe that poll was well conducted.
Show me the demographics of who they polled, which states and districts they polled, and when. Then and only then can I consider changing my opinion on this.
ahahahahaha, you don't think a labourer stresses about their job? AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
No wonder this argument is happening.

If they picked at random, then it really wouldn't matter.

I think they have stress but not at the level of someone who is potentially responsible for hundreds of workers, business decisions, and who could risk losing their job at the slightest mistake.
The stress of knowing that if your job gets taken by machines your going to have to sell your body is way worse then anything a rich persons stress can be

If they picked at random across all fifty state and all districts but that is impossible because I doubt they have that capacity.
The United States is very broad and diverse.
I think they have stress but not at the level of someone who is potentially responsible for hundreds of workers, business decisions, and who could risk losing their job at the slightest mistake.
because that's so much more stressful than knowing that at any time you could be let go for things entirely out of your control

I have a hard time arguing with that.
I guess I never realized that laborers have to sell their bodies due to machines...
It has been an honorable defeat.

A worker making just enough to live comfortably thinks about losing his job and the huge problems to his life that would cause him. The CEO says "Oh no, i can't buy a new 50 foot boat every year now" because he lost his job. Sure, massive hyperbole, but the point is, he's going to be fine without that job. He's more than comfortable, he's fucking rich. He can always work again, but he's fucking rich, he doesn't care about that. That worker, making just enough to live on has less stress than that rich CEO? Really?

that was an example of the many reasons why being poor sucks
God bless the GOP! :patriot:
God curse the GOP.
The failure of Prop 19 is just another showcase of how badly stuck we are in grass-root, conservatism bullshit. There is a time, place, and situation to be conservative over issues, but this is not one of them.

If a laborer gets fired they can collect unemployment which usually covers most of their salary
For the middle to upper class however it is hard to find another job of the same caliber playing the same wages and they still have to deal with debt and payments they've accumulated with a upper class lifestyle. Not even to mention the fact that unemployment won't even cover half of their lost salary.
I love bacon.
... :downs:
Damn hard to argue against that.
By the way I didn't mean to include "fifty" in districts.
Oh, and that CEO is forced by law(This is true, a CEO has to do what is in the absolute best direction for the profit of the companies share holders, That is a LAW) to cut workers and use machines instead for the good of that profit motive, HE WILL. Why does he stress more again?

First of all were we talking about CEOs?
You know there is tons of management positions under a CEO.
Secondly not all CEOs don't have a conscious so that can add stress as well. Not to even mention the fact that planning cutbacks and implementing new methods of business is a very stressful task.
Have you ever met a CEO?

the worst thing that could happen is they would be fired, after that they would only be upper class not super upper class

Have you ever met a worker? You still can't answer why his stress is greater than the stress of knowing that you, your wife, and possible kids could lose your house? Live on the street? It's happened to more than a few hundred thousand in the last few years.

You have to consider the difficult at which a CEO would have getting another job.
You have to consider the difficult at which a CEO would have getting another job.
Because the CEO has more to lose.
And yes I've met countless workers what a question. :downs:
I still doubt you've ever had a personal conversation with a CEO.
You have to consider the difficult at which a CEO would have getting another job.
HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHA
Almost none, they go round and round like fucking whores between companies. Some of them stay with one for a long time, founders and such, but other than that...

This isn't even about CEOs it's about upper management jobs.
A massage therapist is a very stress free laborer job but does it represent the rest?
