Democrats cling onto the Senate by not much while GOP dominates the House. Prop 19 fails.

that's like, not even the point of prop 19 man
do you know how much money the state has to waste on prisoners incarcerated for drugs and nothing else? or how much tax money they lose by not taxing product?

It is a big loss. It's a big loss of tax revenue, and it's a big loss for rights movements.
But who cares right? pot kills, right?

Oh, and the drug war costs billions a year, trillions since it's inception. You want to keep that around? Yeah, THAT'S HELPING THE ECONOMY.
I'm surprised prop 19 didn't pass, and with 56% opposed? jesus christ i would've thought it would've been at least INCREDIBLY close
oh well, i guess it's back to the bush era for the US
you don't wanna fuck with smelly he's got like +20 contact high aura within 10 feet
Prop 203 (Arizona) is littearly a 50/50 bid as of now. Come on... Only 3000 need to vote yes!

The projection shows that they will lose by quite a lot
I don't get what the big deal is over prop 19... there are at least 2 California props (23 and 25) that were way more important no matter what side you were rooting for.
23 was the repeal of some of the stricter green regulations until we get 5.5% unemployment and 25 was making the budget only require a simple majority instead of a 2/3 vote.

Prop 19 lost by quite a lot
Only 33% of the votes have been counted.
Really, California rejected Prop 19? I thought everybody in California was high basically all the time. I was genuinely convinced that it was essentially mandatory to be high all the time if you lived in California. This is surprising to me.

They must have all been out buying those little powdered donuts instead of voting.
They were so high they forgot to vote and/or register
V- three hit combo

It hasn't "lost" until all the votes have been counted.
They were so high they forgot to vote and/or register

They were so high they forgot to vote and/or register
I think it's about time we stop this joke, it's old.
They were so high they forgot to vote and/or register
Holy fuck people, this damn joke is getting annoying.
Only 33% of the votes have been counted.
This is my exact point, people fall for the bullshit either party's media spits out when the voting process isn't even done yet.
This is my exact point, people fall for the bullshit either party's media spits out when the voting process isn't even done yet.
I think it's more of a rate thing, if with 2 million votes the rate has stayed pretty much steady, then it'll probably stay that way.
This is my exact point, people fall for the bullshit either party's media spits out when the voting process isn't even done yet.
33% with that big of a difference is enough to call it. Hell, they were calling the governor race at 10%.
hell yeah sharon angle did not get elected
hell yeah
Maybe this is a good thing. Maybe people will be reminded of what the republicans are really about when it's time for Obama's reelection. God help us if Sarah Palin or Newt Gingrich becomes president.
They do still have the senate though, but it's going to be even more difficult to get anything done.
is it like mandatory for every person who leans just a little bit right to display dickness in huge quantities
