I like how everyone thinks this is a news article instead of an op-ed.
Are you implying that Obama is a Communist?
No, he's saying he doesn't want industrial or agricultural workers in this thread.
But a socialistic society is a good idea! It takes money from those who can most afford it and uses it to look after the less well off! There are very few negatives to that system!

A lot of people don't think they should have to give their money away to those who are less fortunate, especially the people who work very hard for what they have.

The only real losers are the super rich, and there aren't very many of those. Socialising the country would improve a wide variety of services, especially if they were also nationalised

However, I understand why a lot of people are against it as well.
"Opinion" Huh. Well, there you have it.

It's sickeningly disproportionate.
lolgreed
Greed is not a bad thing. Greed is the reason people often become successful in the first place.
A rich person gives up a foot on their second yacht and some poor guy gets his cancer treated.
What?
Relevant to socialism and why it doesn't work.
Bullshit. Obama hasn't made one liberal move since he's been in office. I, as a disappointed liberal, understand this and wish he was as liberal as these stupid conservative assholes keep saying he is. The fact remains that he has yet to actually see through one liberal ambition. He's been incredibly moderate thus far.
