You're overstating or misunderstanding the aspect of reward centres. Receiving a psychological reward (That produces a chemical in the brain) is a temporary affect that increases the level of physical arousal. However, you seem to be saying this is somehow relevant to only paedophilia - it's a chemical that's released when you're enjoying a good coffee and you psychologically wish to have more/savour the moment because it's awesome and exciting. It's the same with a person who loves painting or constructing an awesome piece of furniture.
You eventually reach a downward point as the chemicals balance themselves and you fall into a more melancholic mood. You may think it's still 'great', but you've had enough. You don't want to watch porn/build a model/paint a picture anymore at the moment.
