Who cares about pol? You're only giving them more power by bitching.
Uhh, no one is bitching, we're just explaining the reason why we think people who use the word cuck are idiots.
Who cares about pol? You're only giving them more power by bitching.
I'm not bitching, I just find it hilarious that people actually think they're being cool/making a point/insulting others when they use it.
People who use the word cuck are just jealous that they'll never have the chance to be cuckolded
Uhh, no one is bitching, we're just explaining the reason why we think people who use the word cuck are idiots.
Totally not bitching by having to go on a mini-tirade about pol.
everything is terrible
Totally not bitching by having to go on a mini-tirade about pol.
No-one went on a "mini-tirade" about /pol/ either, I literally was just explaining how since the word is heavily used by /pol/, generally anyone who genuinely uses it is a complete moron.
No-one went on a "mini-tirade" about /pol/ either, I literally was just explaining how since the word is heavily used by /pol/, generally anyone who genuinely uses it is a complete moron.

Are you being sarcastic or what? Cuck as an insult, while not originating from /pol/, is certainly being spread by it, and you know anything that comes out of fucking /pol/ is bound to be completely retarded. That's where the whole unironic/ironic usage comes in that he's talking about.
And literally zero relevance at this point because most people who use it these days don't even know that, nor do they care. You certainly care though since you had to make it explicitly clear that its from pol.
I just like to use the word "cuck" because it's not a homophobic slur like "faggot" or a racial slur either. It's one syllable so it's easier to yell at other drivers
And literally zero relevance at this point because most people who use it these days don't even know that, nor do they care. You certainly care though since you had to make it explicitly clear that its from pol.
What point are you even trying to prove now? I'm not trying to explain where it comes from, I'm explaining why people who generally use it are idiots. I have said nothing either about caring about this issue or not, you're literally just putting words in my mouth now.
[editline]10th August 2016[/editline]
Also what the hell is up with the hostility dude, I've done pretty much nothing yet you've been pretty aggressive for no discernible reason.
What point are you even trying to prove now? I'm not trying to explain where it comes from, I'm explaining why people who generally use it are idiots. You made a stupid statement bringing up something that nobody cared about for no reason other than to bitch about the strawman reason you don't like people who use a word.
Also what the hell is up with the hostility dude, I've done nothing yet you've been pretty aggressive with your posting.
I'd not call it aggressive, just blunt and matter-of-fact. I do it any time I get in to a debate or argument, no point playing soft.
The fuck?
generally gawker's articles are clickbait, they took the next step and made an entire site that's clickbait
Might as well call it untermensch, the usage is the same.
I didn't put any words in your mouth, I directly quoted you. You made a stupid statement bringing up something that nobody cared about for no reason other than to bitch about the strawman reason you don't like people who use a word.
Uhh, I'm not even sure how to exactly respond to this. You're stretching what I'm saying really far in your own interpretation. There's no deeper meaning to my post, I'm not complaining about /pol/ or trying to take a swipe at it, I'm literally just explaining why I (and as I assume the other) consider pretty much everyone who genuinely uses Cuck as an actual insult an idiot because generally people who use it that way are either from /pol/ or have been directly influenced by it. There's literally nothing extra to it, that's just it.

Last time I checked, those two things are incredibly similar, and so far it seems you have been actually being aggressive because if not then why would you make this post:
Totally not bitching by having to go on a mini-tirade about pol.
How can you not call this being passive-agressive? If you seriously don't think so, I think you need to recheck the way you interpret aggressive.
[editline]10th August 2016[/editline]
I mean hell, even in the post you just made, you added unecessary details such as "stupid" and "nobody cares about". That's not being blunt dude, that's being agressive.
I would hate to think the forums I frequent are full of /pol/ posters and not users screeching a popular buzzword tbh
Something about using cuck as an insult makes me cringe. It's like the conservatives' version of cis.
No, no. This can't be real. Fucking refuse to believe it.
I don't care if it's a subdomain of gawker.com, I don't care that it links directly to other Gawker sites, this is the stupidest fucking idea I've seen in a while.
Jezebel, Gawker's SJW blog has a sub-group called The Slot. This is obviously just them doing the same thing as none of them seem to give a shit anymore.
I can't believe this is real. Thank you Gawker for the good laughs.
Something about using cuck as an insult makes me cringe. It's like the conservatives' version of cis.
Both are equally retarded. Calling someone a "cishet shitlord" (or any of the thousands of variations of that) is just as cringeworthy.

Do those wounds not heal?
Do those wounds not heal?
I'm still pretty ashamed and scared that I used to think Kotaku was a good game news site.
Then I learned about Gamergate.
Then I learned about the shit Gawker pulls.
Then I really started to take a critical look at the headlines and stories Kotaku put out and realised Kotaku was the equivalent of the Irish Sun and other tabloid newspapers.
The wounds still haven't healed, and it's why I have this maxim: there are only two things you can be cynical about in life: politics... and video game journalism.
I can't believe the word cuck has entered the political field. Do any of these people even know where it came from? Do any of these people know what it means?
It's simply baffling.
Literally if it wasn't for r/the_donald no body would be using it.
Memes have taken over politics and turned it into even more of a joke.

Anyone who underestimate the 4chan's hability to create and propagate ideas is a fool.

It's just short for "cuckold", the word wasn't invented by reddit or even 4chan.
It's just short for "cuckold", the word wasn't invented by reddit or even 4chan.
I never said they invented it. I said if it wasn't for the widespread use of the word by the extremely popular subreddit r/the_donald it would have never been picked up by politics or mainstream media.
You guys act like i never seen porn before smh
Little known fact: Stephen Totilo came up with this venture after the newsroom collectively helped him to experience the "iceland plumber".
It's just short for "cuckold", the word wasn't invented by reddit or even 4chan.
except "cuck" as used by alt-righters and their ilk has taken on a new meaning and is used as a general insult for people they think of as being submissive and unmanly, because not being a complete bellend is apparently a negative trait in today's world.

Pretty sure /pol/ abused it long before Trump got a Subreddit.
But same group basically yeah.
for people adamant they're not bitching about a word you sure won't stop talking about/repeatedly whining about it

Theories are they're trying to devalue the property before handing it in but idk how you can get much worse

Idk what hogan would even do with it

He should just make all gawker links redirect to his website with that picture of him furiously holding an american flag

The word "cuckservative" is a neologism. It's new, but it's a real thing.

Whether you like it or not, that's another thing.
