I bet half the people who are complaining about lack of DX11 don't even have DX11 capable cards.

Sometimes, it's actually easier to crack a game, than it is to buy it and play it legally. Take the old Assassins Creed II DRM, for example. It doesn't justify it, but it makes piracy look a whole lot better than actually buying the game.

I've been playing the singleplayer. This game is [B]AMAZING[/B]. The pacing is exactly how you want it to be. You could turn corners, guns blazing, chewing through your ammo and your enemies. You can be semi-tactical and peek around walls like Call of Juarez, you can stealth around and silently takedown and snipe people from afar. You can use microwave guns on aliens and watch them explode or lay mines for enemy humans to trip.

DX11 doesn't work on consoles so they didn't use it, you know it's true.

They didn't even use DX10 properly, it was just a gimmick, everything that was "DX10 exclusive" could be done in DX9. It doesn't really matter, but maybe we'll see a DX11 patch, maybe not, it still looks nice.

(Extreme has no graphical difference over gamer, other than LOD stuff which can be done manually in about 2 console commands...)

Before we had people who made cartridges and they couldn't patch shit without a new run of cartridges with the updated build number, now we have constant Internet connections with high end PC's, they just have to send a few bits and bytes, and bam, somethings changed. It doesn't leave room for half-assed ports that are never fixed and I hate that too, but DX11 isn't a necessity.

The game looks fine and isn't that what all graphics libraries are for I'm still weary of buying this at sixty fucking dollars though

I actually quite regret buying this game. I was so excited, and then I started playing it. All I see is asshole, it's just another shoot em up, and the online barley fucking works. I don't know but the campaign is really forgettable, I haven't played through the entire thing, but everything looks the same.
