Do you realize how stupid it is to say "Get over it" in response to a completely valid point? It's about as mature as saying "your a poophead" or "I know what you are, but what am I?" Either way, it wasn't really well-done. Bond never seems to give a shit about it visibly, so what's the point of even bothering with it?
This just in: I get really mad when dudes portraying a cold blooded professional killer don't get choked up over seeing their childhood home.
Kinda disappointed there was not much bond car action.
i'm happy it wasn't formulaic, the opening scene to Quantum shows how bland those car scenes have gotten.
I think this movie has the best cinematography of all time. So yes, definitely deserves it.
Oh look, news that I'm okay with!
i'm happy it wasn't formulaic, the opening scene to Quantum shows how bland those car scenes have gotten.
And the making of they showed on top gear was really depressing. They had like twelve of the cars and were just beating the shit out of them.
Whether he did or not, they never made a huge deal out of it until Skyfall.
they made a deal out of it in goldeneye.
And the making of they showed on top gear was really depressing. They had like twelve of the cars and were just beating the shit out of them.
Didn't they drive one off a cliff and into a lake by accident?
I loved the lighting in this movie. The scenery was beautiful. I distinctly remember the scene where Bond was chasing the guy up the elevator; that hallway had the sexiest lighting
In my opinion, Skyfall wasn't anything special. A not insignificant number of scenes were cringeworthy and/or broke the immersion. Still a great movie (the vast majority of it was absolutely excellent) but certainly no Casino Royale
Sorry to say this, but Skyfall made no impression on me whatsoever. Normally I enjoy Bond films and Casino Royale was really good. I guess they stayed true to the original bond and portrayed him really well, but this being some sort of transition movie didn't do it any good. There was no immersion, just a lot of hype. If you look at user reviews: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1074638/reviews you can see that half of the people love the film and half of the people utterly disgust it. Guess I'm in the latter half unfortunately.
Casino Royale was boring as hell. The chase at the beginning was good. The fistfight at the hotel was good. The fight at the end was alright, but it was all broken up by what felt like 3 hours of fake drama in a card game. [editline]1st January 2013[/editline] My favorite part of Casino Royale is the opening credits and song.

I'd call it a vocal minority really.

The Istanbul roof top & Bazaar chase has already been shown in "Taken 2" and the TV show "Missing".
why the fuck does this make the movie bad?
i just saw it and liked it, great way to celebrate 50 years with bond
