Likely to be a lower-end processor with the nametags molested and replaced with i7s. There were cases of Intel knockoffs before, which were mostly lower end Pentiums re-tagged and sold as higher-end processors.

I think it's just a plastic processor and a plastic fan.
Someone broke in all the boxes and stole all the real ones and replaced them with fake ones.
I love NewEgg. Sucks that something like this had to happen to them.
