so some bicyclists don't follow the rules therefore it's okay to generalize all of them
this is based off my experience, not yours. if i see a cyclist while driving, i watch em like a hawk to the degree where i expect them to do something stupid, just to be prepared to slam on the brakes or evade them if they do decide to be an idiot. my generalisation is there for a reason.
Getting hit by a bike sounds incredibly painful.
"a white person shot and killed a hispanic person at a grocery store" "fuck white people" do you see why your mentality is ridiculous?
I like how you ignored all my posts. Also this is our train station:
I guess you're in misunderstanding. He's talking about motorcyclers. They're fags. There's even a South Park episode!:v:
I'd feel horrible as a bike rider if I killed someone after hitting them.
You would probably be badly bruised yourself so that's sorta given.
I like how you ignored all my posts.
your post is no different than most of the ones I've already addressed in the thread just another anecdotal story and generalization [editline]7th May 2011[/editline]
this is based off my experience, not yours. if i see a cyclist while driving, i watch em like a hawk to the degree where i expect them to do something stupid, just to be prepared to slam on the brakes or evade them if they do decide to be an idiot. my generalisation is there for a reason.
if i see a car while driving, i watch em like a hawk to the degree where i expect them to do something stupid, just to be prepared to slam on the brakes or evade them if they do decide to be an idiot. I can do this too

Okay then, your arguments are nothing but empty rewritten sentences because you are too stupid to come up with one. Besides pretty much all other road users agree: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/ireland/article7018034.ece
"a white person shot and killed a hispanic person at a grocery store" "fuck white people"
Unrelated, but it should be the other way.
not keeping to their bike lane. unpredictable moves. not indicating. going through stop signs and stop lights. i've found cyclists don't give a fuck in my area because they don't get fined
Cyclists do not have to keep to bike lanes. It's there as an option for the cyclist if they don't wish to cycle with traffic. Cyclists are not dangerous, bad cyclists are dangerous, just like bad drivers are dangerous.
shhh all cyclists are bad because I saw a few cyclists breaking the laws
I saw a cyclist texting while riding so I took out my laptop and snipped this picture with the webcam!
that reminds me of when in my town a cyclist died after getting hit by a car man
this is why bikers are faggots, they dont give a shit and do stuff like this and why? OH DERP HUER IS GREEN SAVE THE PLANET :)
Maybe its an easy way to save money, As petrol prices are fucking high, Grow up next time before you post...
what was the cyclist doing on the pavement? (presuming the guy was on the pavement, and not the road)
Do you think that's bad? A Motorcyclist ran over a senior's head and got away with it in my square. Shit's fucked up
shhh all cyclists are bad because I saw a few cyclists breaking the laws
I broke my hiatus on posting for over a year to prove to you cyclists statistically break traffic laws often.
37% of the cyclists observed blew through red lights 28.7% of riders paused and then ran the light. 10% rode against traffic Only 29.8% of the riders wore helmets. 91 percent of the riders observed were male. 3.7% of the cyclists were observed riding on sidewalks. 29.3% did not use the designated lane when there was one.
here is the link also, http://gothamist.com/2009/05/19/study_cyclists_ignore_traffic_laws.php I was looking for the statistics that the local police released for my city on cyclists and traffic violation, lets just say it suggests that cyclists break traffic laws significantly more then automobiles.

I can do this too
so do i, but you hit a car - you damage it. you hit a cyclist. you kill them. i'd prefer to hit a car than a cyclist, and it doesn't help that so many cyclists don't give a shit about what's gong on around them. why do you feel you have to be so fucking pc? it's actually fucking pathetic. ''Unpredictability is a key concern of drivers when interacting with cyclists on the road and cyclist red light non-compliance is likely to increase driver perceptions of unpredictability.'' Report co-author Dr Stuart Newstead said he did not think licensing cyclists or registering bikes would help.
this is why bikers are faggots, they dont give a shit and do stuff like this and why? OH DERP HUER IS GREEN SAVE THE PLANET :)
Unquestionably the most retarded post I've seen in a few weeks. You should feel ashamed.
:colbert: Can't wait till you're age is 18.
How, i'll be driving a car.
Damn cyclists, get a real vehicle you hippies.
I don't mind cycling but an alarming trend in Uni of these faggots with bikes with no breaks who never use cycling lanes, they speed through crowded footpaths, I reckon Ive flipped off at least 3 since January when walking to college, even the student union is starting to get involved.
From the three places I have lived on the east side of US, I have also noticed the cyclists ignoring traffic signs, running off sidewalks right in front of my car, and for most part being egotistical assholes. I do however know a few riders personally that are good people, but they still debate with me that they have the right to do all those things. I think my hatred for most of them all has to do with the fact I am very impatient. I get upset when I have to wait for a clear spot to pass them on a busy road. I want to jump out of my car and harass them when they refuse to use the bike lane. Also a number of times I have had to slam on my breaks just to keep from hitting one that just blindly rides out from around a corner. With this said I can't say they have no right to be on the road, I just think they should use more safer techniques when riding.
I'm a biker and I think that a lot of bikers are assholes. That said, not all are. I try to follow traffic rules as well as possible, If I have to drive on the sidewalk then I avoid and respect pedestrians and move out of the way before they get a chance to even get close. I hold my hand out to the side when I am turning, I don't blow past red lights or stop signs and if there is a bike lane then I stay in the bike lane. It's not like it's hard to follow the rules. [editline]8th May 2011[/editline] But on topic: we don't know if this biker was an asshole or not, accidents happen, and I wouldn't be surprised if the biker feels awful about it.
Maybe its an easy way to save money, As petrol prices are fucking high, Grow up next time before you post...
Its called getting a job man
Its called getting a job man
Earning more money doesn't mean you have to spend more money. That's a stupid argument. [editline]8th May 2011[/editline] It's also a great way to get exercise.
I'm a cyclist and I don't obey certain rules. Thing is, I don't put anyone's life or mine on the line with this, as I always pick the safest way of doing things. Well, maybe not always, but most of the times.
I cycle a fair bit and obey the rules, I dont cycle like a madman, I undertake when the traffic is stationary, I dont cycle around like a total nutcase. Its the car drivers that are at fault most of the time, like when I go onto roundabouts, all the time they will try to overtake me then turn off then realise I am still allowed to go round, then they get angry because they were the ones who would have hit me. I have only ever not obeyed the rules once and that was when my brakes failed on my bike going down a fairly steep traffic laden hill, honest to god did not know how I managed to avoid not crashing into anyone, very scary weaving in and out of traffic while trying to slow down using my feet and what was left on my brakes.
The cycle of life and death continues.
