That was probably the worst James Bond song I've heard yet

Probably one of the worst things Jack White has put his name on. On top of that, it's the only bond song that has had two artists. That was touted as something special when it came out, but it kind of also makes you think...well was Jack White not good enough to produce it himself?
holy fucking shit thats worse than die another day
and ive only listened to the first 30 seconds
Very, very nice.
dr. no and goldeneye were the best, no contest
Casino Royale had a really good theme, so did Diamonds Are Forever.
Also this one is totally a step up from the terrible Quantum of Solace theme.
I been wanting to watch all the James Bond movies. I might do this very soon.
I loathe Adele, however this one is quite good.

They did have alternatives when they chose that one. I for one like this one:

It feels a lot more Bond-ish. Still, my favorite is Live and Let Die.
i love adele
i love her more now
When I see the words skyfall and adele in the same sentance I can only picture a giant crater on the face of the earth

The quantum of solace game has a good intro song.

The song's great, but not for a Bond movie IMO.
Doesn't give me that feel.
This was dreary, I prefer the Quantum of Wallace theme. People can say "but it captured the spirit", but when there is no actual feeling that the singer is craving for some action.. then it doesn't really work.
Nothing beats Thunderball. :-)
i'm really not fond of her songs at all. i imagine most people who hate her because she's popular hate her because her songs are schlock that just copy Nancy Sinatra's gig without doing anything new or interesting.
I like her music, but don't think much of this theme at all.
I'm kind of a fan of Tomorrow Never Dies myself

This should have been the Skyfall theme

I do like the classy soul touch, but all in all... it feels as though the word "skyfall" was desperately added in. Unlike Goldfinger or Goldeneye which felt much more natural for the song.
It's like when she did it, she didn't think to be a bit playful with the song.
This may piss people off, but Madonna's Die Another Day was a much better track EVEN though it steered a million miles away from the bond theme.
I'll have a good opinion once it's in the context of the film, but seeing as everyone's first impressions are good and mine's not, we'll see.

also someone said it sounded predictable which I agree with too.
Eh. Listening to Adele's theme... it seems to constantly ALMOST sound good, but it never quite gets there. I actually think if they'd mixed the Jimmy Bond theme into it somewhere along the main chorus, it would have sounded far better.
