I don't get the problem?
You're getting exactly what you registered for and the functionality won't ever change for you.
I switched to ownCloud ages ago, far better than Dropbox imo.

ONLY USERS REGISTERED AFTER AUGUST 1st 2012(8/1/12) ARE AFFECTED
goddamn, isn't there a rule about people not reading the OP and posting?

Not everyone is crazy to rent out storage or get their own NAS set up
Another reason to use Google Drive.

Hey, chill man. I'm sorry I ruined your day.
Good. I'm sick of seeing bandwidth exceeded on embedded images. People should start using ShareX, ZScreen's successor.
If I want to share an image off screen, alt + z to capture and upload to any image host or FTP server, or write your own functionality in to make it work for nearly any purpose.
If I want to share an image or file on my HD or multiple files, ctrl + c to clipboard it, alt + c to upload clipboard's contents. Images go to, as I specified, imgur in my case, files go to my box.com account. Link gets sent to my clipboard.
It's also open source. I modified it to have support for recording animated GIF's directly off the desktop and then uploading them.
Highly recommended over capture tools like Puush that use a proprietary host.. yuck.
SkyDrive does this and it's the sole reason I didn't switch despite the fact I have 22GB more storage. At least it's not a retro-active change and previous users can still use the current public sharing method.

Quick, everyone register as many accounts possible before August 1st!
