The other two only works in America :(
Siri location services are US only till Siri is out of beta.. :(
Can we like, not bitch about iPhones vs. Android? They're both perfectly fine and nothing is worse than assholes to prance around saying one phone is better. I prefer iOS over Android for example but I don't have to run around like a nonce going "LOL IPHONES ARE SO MUCH BETTER THAN ANDROID PHONES." Just come to fucking terms that they both are good devices in their own right and shut up.
Everyone I know who got a 3GS is having their contracts run out and are obviously going to be upgrading to the newer one. I see no problem with iPhones, they are reasonably stable (My HTC Desire force closes on me so much it's not even funny), they do what people want them to do, everything is really easy and their screens are nice.
My friend bought an Imac (They are called Imac, right?), installed WIndows 7 on it (Not even dualboot) and says that now he has the most powerful gaming system possible Totally worth the spent money
Ask him how the sub par performance and occasional overheating is for me will you?
People are addicted to expensive luxuries nowadays. I'll keep my flip phone for emergencies.
Hey guys, everyone that has the Iphone 4 and is not spoiled rich (the majority), did not buy the 4s.
"Apple could put a logo* on a broken toaster and sell millions of them."
Stop being a such a cry-baby, Apple has had failed products in the past, like the buttonless shuffle, that was a complete flop. Products will sell well if they are good products but won't if they're not, so clearly the 4S is a good product which people are willing to buy
Never had an iPhone, but they seem great and simple to use. Got an upgrade coming in January, will probably look into the 4S, looks impressive and for a first time iPhone buyer I dont have to get butt-hurt over small upgrades every year...as I've never had one. Currently on a Blackberry Bold, love it for its BBM and all my contacts, but have just had problems with it as its aged, and for me personally and my job I need something a bit more bigger and easier for internet browsing etc.... Once I upgrade to the iPhone, I'm planning on sticking a pay as you go sim in the BB and having nothing but a monthly BBM service charged too it. That way I can just use it as an IM device and keep all my BB contacts.
I love the iPhone, had one before my android. But I don't see why you would want to buy a new one from the series everytime they come out. I guess it turned also into a collectable device.
2 of my friends already bought one too.
Well if your upgrading from a 3GS, it would make sense that you would get the 4S. Your two year contract is up, and its the next logical upgrade. If you already have an iPhone 4, then no its not worth it.
STOP LIKING WHAT I DON'T LIKE
I totally saw this coming, Outside of the O2 store near my house there was a massive que outside.
Everybody keep an eye out on ebay. There are probably thousands of iphone 4 and 3gs going up for sale, and probably for cheep.
Still got the 4, will wait for iPhone 5
You're the dumb one here (along with a hefty amount of facepunch) for being unable to understand people like different things. If the product was shite no one would buy it or update it. Who are you to call people dumb in how they spend their money?
Buying the newest version when you already have what's basically the same thing is just a bad financial decision no matter how you slice it.
Buying the newest version when you already have what's basically the same thing is just a bad financial decision no matter how you slice it.
post purchase justification syndrome is awfuly virulent with Apple products.
Apple is the exact reason why you need higher taxes for the huge companies in the USA. Billions of dollars just wasted on making new phones and computers, that could've gone to something actually needed. Like your insane debt.

Say "I love you" or "shit" :v:
Say "I love you" or "shit" :v:
When you say "I Love You" it says, "How is that possible"
When you say "I Love You" it says, "How is that possible"
Ow, in some video it said "You don't even know me" [editline]14th October 2011[/editline] I just fucking love that Siri can answer questions like "I am going to kill myself" or when you ask something sexual that it calls a Escort service :V:
You act like it's a bad phone. It's not, it's one of the best specc'd phones out there with a simple and easy to understand operating system. I work in consumer electronics, and it's plain as day that people find iOS easier to use (pick up and immediately use it) than Android. The mass marked is NOT driven for people like you, who obviously prefer the level of depth Android can have; it is for ease of use and simplicity.
For something that claims simplicity, I find that excuse to be absolute bullshit because iOS is much more complicated than Android is. [editline]14th October 2011[/editline]
WAAAAAAAAAAH STOP LIKING WHAT I DON'T LIKE it's a good product, deal w/ it. some people prefer ios over android.
And 99% of those people have never tried Android or blindly rim Apple's asshole.
someone tell me why there wasn't a big deal when Apple went from iPhone 3G -> 3GS? it's not like Android phone updates are so significant from one another, this is just like SGS I -> SGSII, granted the appearance did change but the internals took a massive overhaul? what about Droid 1 -> 2 -> 3?

Yeah, it could be better but can't we all just be happy Apple caught up?
so apart from not changing the appearance of the new iPhone they still undertook a hardware upgrade like Droid 2 -> Droid 3. Yeah, it could be better but can't we all just be happy Apple caught up?
Well I just mean if they want to do another phone, make it at least 4 inches for the love of god, touchscreen with a 3.5in screen is unbearable. Yeah Apple does have good hardware and even when the amazing Tegra 3 quadcore CPUs come out for Android phones, iOS will run just fine because it's all standardized. I like that in a way but it decreases the amount of variety consumers have. They should at least do 3.5 inch, 4 inch, 4 inch with keyboard to give consumers some variety ya' know?
