Oh my god, those parents are seriously huge bitches and they should've died in this place. There are too many transphobes, and the lesser the better. I hope one day we can progress to a society where everyone can be whatever they want to be, but for that to happen these negative people who indoctrinate their children need to seriously die. I'm serious. Wanting a group of people to die in order to create a "better" society is indicative of sociopathy.

I live with a terribly Christian grandmother who tries the same type of shit on me. She kicked me out after learning I was transgender (in a rainstorm, had to sleep in a park and got bronchitis) and that's just one example. She forced me to attend religious "therapy" where I was bashed with the Bible and she paid heavily out of pocket for me to basically be put into panic attacks from the combined pressure. We don't get physical often but she is very emotionally abusive and this leads to me generally feeling quite depressed and suicidal some days, however I self medicate with various substances so most of the time I try to be too high to care about the abuse.

See, its this kind of shit that puzzles me. How can you love somebody as one gender, but not the other when it is in essence the same person you loved? Perhaps I'm getting ahead of myself, I can only hope things improve for you in the future. Hell, I feel that way for transgender in general. I find it abhorrent that people can justify this kind of abuse bigotry, and hatred.

I don't really get how it can possibly be a loss since it's literally just making his child happier, but I don't know how the minds of (unfortunately) ignorant people work. The child they spent 16 years raising is dead, and I don't think they acted out of malice when the suicide happened.
