I didn't say play, I said like. You don't go to a sports bar to play sports.
you never even mentioned a sports bar in your post
you never even mentioned a sports bar in your post
Yeah, I kinda did. It was clearly there in the quote, and it was mentioned just prior in that discussion too.
Great idea, don't buy this from the Lard and Grease Sports Bar and Grill three times a day like a large chunk of obese America does.

Sports Bars have some of the worst food ever. Of the many I've been to, only one was acceptable. The rest serve burnt food that either lacks taste or taste exactly like how the food shouldn't.

that's why you never go to a sports bar to eat food

I don't like sports though either, but my friends apparently have stomachs made from nuclear waste storage units and they like sports. And so when I'm with them, I will eventually get hungry and be forced to eat something before my body begins consuming itself.
you suggested a good method. Hope it will help.
There's one trick my mom gave me that has never failed me.
People probably just need to learn to take the time to eat. If you've finished your plate within the first 20 minutes, you're doing it wrong. We weren't meant to gulp down food like we do.
want to eat less? stop eating like a pig
Yeah because being fat isn't genetic.
Face it, it's just like being gay, while there's always exceptions, the majority of the people have this because they have certain genes.

"certain genes" cannot make calories materialize from the aether. a person might be predisposed towards obesity, but like being predisposed towards alcoholism, it's still under their control

Do you even know what you're talking about? It's how you use the damn calories. I eat less than my friend Jesse and I'm a 6(and a half)-foot tall guy with muscles and he's a freaking 5(and a half)-foot tall stick. He eats like 6 meals a day, no joke. My uncle is also morbidly obese and he eats the same amount I do.
Explain that doctor shmock.
I have four bowls of cereal for breakfast every day and I feel fine.
I have four bowls of cereal for breakfast every day and I feel fine.
Nowadays I barely eat on meal a day, but I'm still over 200 pounds.
I eat until my stomach says "Maximum Carrying Capacity Reached" and then refuse to even have a drink for fear of throwing up.
There lies the problem though, stomachs are lying bastards, some people eat more than others before feeling full so they continue to eat until they are satisfied without considering if they are eating a reasonable amount of food. Course not going back for a second helping takes self control, something a lot of people lack entirely.
Counting calories isn't hard. Most people are just either unmotivated or lazy ( probably both) to understand your weight is easy as hell to control given your goals are realistic.
Nowadays I barely eat on meal a day, but I'm still over 200 pounds.
More food, but in smaller portions, leads to a higher metabolism. Which makes your body burn off fat faster.
aka snacks throughout the day actually make you lose more weight than eating nothing at all.
people need to realise that fat and calories are only two components of food. you can eat only 2,000cal a day and be thin, but all the while still be unhealthy

That's exactly what I do actually. The funny part is that the doctors say I have a really high metabolism, but I have never been skinny. But I also have never been fat, so eh.

Wait, doesn't muscle weigh more than fat?
Wait, doesn't muscle weigh more than fat?
Yep
people need to realise that fat and calories are only two components of food. you can eat only 2,000cal a day and be thin, but all the while still be unhealthy
haha you think 2000 calories is enough to make you fat
haha you also think that the word 'fat' on a nutritional guidelines tab means it makes you fat
Yep
Explains why I weigh so much then :v:
haha you think 2000 calories is enough to make you fat

no idea how you came to either of those conclusions, perhaps it's because you're a disagreeable twit?
haha you think 2000 calories is enough to make you fat

Calories is the total ENERGY intake from the food. Infact calories can mean nothing in how much weight you can gain. But the fat label tells you how much fat is in the food, your body generally eats that all up.
no idea how you came to either of those conclusions, perhaps it's because you're a disagreeable twit?
ok im sorry
I doubt you know anything about weightlifting or strength training at all.
I deadlift three times a week and jog around my neighborhood every day.
You have never met me in real life, how can you suggest such things without proof?
[editline]17th July 2011[/editline]
are you new to ITN?
No, but I do know that such inflammatory responses should not be said anywhere, let alone ITT.
its okay sanius always seems to have his panties in a bunch
maybe its their little sisters so they don't fit quite right
[editline]17th July 2011[/editline]
Just kidding I love you Sanius. <3
You have never met me in real life, how can you suggest such things without proof?
Because your're suggesting your >200 weight is due to muscle, yet you claim
Nowadays I barely eat on meal a day, but I'm still over 200 pounds.
This shows a fundamental lack of basic nutrition knowledge that you would have known if you had any clue about health.
I find it hard to believe that a furry with an expansion fetish can dead-lift anything

no cuz the protein is stored in his fat cells and his sugar powers his nuclear brain adn it makes him work.
Be right back I'm thirsty.
