Bill O'Reilly: Media Labeling Norway Killer Breivik 'Christian' Because 'They Don't Like Christians'
100 replies, posted
I watched this and was filled with rage with about every single thing he said.
His "Point" about how this guy isn't christian was that one of the extremest bombers had a business card that said Muslim extremest and that this guy didn't have a business card or documented proof he went to church. Since when did churches start writing down lists of everyone who visited, Last time they did that something called the holocaust happened and the Nazis took the roster and hunted them down. Good job o'reilly you prove there are people on this planet that still have yet to use their brain.
christians are immune to doing dumb things, clearly
Yeah that's exactly what I said :downs:
yeah extremist christians are incapable of doing stupid things
it's not like they go against protected sex in africa and advocate killing gays en masse (extremists we are talking about here)
Well yes extremists are stupid, but this isn't even extremist Christian behavior, this is just someone who is fucking stupid and using HIS own extremist view of Christianity to make him feel good about him self so when he does stupid shit like this he thinks he is right. His actions were just plain stupidity and insane, but he wasn't acting on Christian beliefs.
Which is just as bad, if not worse.
I'm a nationalist and you're wrong.
People clutter up Nationalism with Nationalsocialism and hitler just as easy as Socialism and communism these days.
He didn't act on his views of religion, rather then his views of nationalism.
Ah! Well that means the Crusades, the Massacre of Verden, the Karantina Massacre, the Tel al-Zaatar Massacre, and the Sabra and Shatila massacres couldn't have been done by Christians either! What a peaceful religion!
Funny how most people say it's bad to mix extreme/radical muslims with regular muslims while they do the exact same thing towards christians.
he does not have a "personal," religious relationship with Christ, believes in Christianity "as a cultural, social, identity and moral platform," which he says "makes [me] Christian."
Uhm as dumb as O'Reilly was being this bit makes me wonder if you can actually call him a Christian
That fucking idiot...
This is an even better post when I remember that you used to be a moderator
I would have assumed the reason they label him Christian as not to confuse him with what most people expect, a Muslim. Not because the press hates Jeebus.
Also, going out on a limb here and may be incorrect, but I highly doubt that O'Reilly gave as much time to say that Muslim extremists aren't really Muslim.
I heard in this one episode of Countdown that Fox news is a "Entertainment" company. It came from Glenn Beck's mouth. Just look up on google "Fox News a entertainment company"
ON TOPIC: Bill O' Reilly has been the most obvious man to be known with a bad tendency to keep the most Stupid sentences ever.
Speaking of retarded things, why hasn't this service (I'm not gonna say 'news' before it) been taken down already, since we found the documents that literally say that Fox isn't news at all in any way shape or form, merely a way for the republican party to garner support and brainwash their mass viewers?
Because that isn't illegal.
God bless america.
Just saw this on TYT:

God damn he is stupid.
Fuck off Fox news team.

I think the entire Fox team is really just a bunch of IRL trolls.
No one is this dumb.
They're being paid to act dumb.
why is he even getting this kind of attention?

Tell them that to their faces, watch their brains tie in a knot.
No true Scotsman in action guys.
No true Scotsman in action guys.
No true Christian likes sugar with his porridge.
To be fair guys.
Anders has already admitted to not being a Christian in the slightest and doesn't hold any beliefs towards it. He's just crazy.

He really did?
It said that he said this:
he does not have a "personal," religious relationship with Christ, believes in Christianity "as a cultural, social, identity and moral platform," which he says "makes [me] Christian."
which made me very doubtful you could really call him a Christian but did he deny it?
which made me very doubtful you could really call him a Christian but did he deny it?
You doubt someone is Christian if they don't have a personal relationship with Christ?
You doubt someone is Christian if they don't have a personal relationship with Christ?
uh yah
there are a few rules who define who is a Christian and if you break them, welp, you can say you're a Christian but you're not
like if I say I'm a vegetarian but I eat meat, welp guess I'm not a vegetarian then
uh yah

Oh hey muslims aren't supposed to murder people, I guess Islamic terrorism doesn't exist!
I think we just saved the world!

Well TH89 already brought up this point, but let me say your phrase in a different way:
"there are a few rules who define who is a Muslim and if you break them, welp, you can say you're a Muslim but you're not"
Oh hey muslims aren't supposed to murder people, I guess Islamic terrorism doesn't exist!

A person who eats meat can rightfully call themselves a vegetarian true/false
There are a few basic rules you have to follow. If the Islamic terrorists rejected the Koran could they rightfully call themselves Islamic terrorists?
Look what the statement said as a whole. "I don't have a relationship with Christ", followed by several statements denigrating Christianity as little more than a social and moral platform. Does this evoke absolutely NO doubt in your mind that he is a Christian?

This would only be a fair comparison if Breivik rejected the Bible, not said "I don't have a personal relationship with Christ".
A person who eats meat can rightfully call themselves a vegetarian true/false
sure why not

The thing is the definition of a Christian is someone who follows Christ - the only way to do that is by accepting him as your savior and having a relationship with him.
Christianity doesn't have rules, regulations or cultural identity - anyone from any culture can call themselves a christian.
All this Anders guy wants is to go back to Medieval Europe in terms of culture, that's what he means when he says he want Europe to keep it's Christian identity. I for one as a Christian don't want that in the slightest.
I'm pretty sure this guy would kill an Arab even if they had converted.
